Installation 2.1 About Install Memory Card (1) Insert a n e w TF c a r d into t h e c a r d slot a n d t h e n p o w e r o n t h e recorder. (2) After t h e d a s h c a m is t u r n e d on, p l e a s e p r e s s Key t o e n t e r the Menu Interface. (3) In t h e M e n u Interfac e, pr e s s Key t o s w i t c h to t h e opt i on of `Format Card', a n d p r e s s Key t o e nt e r . ( 4 ) T h e n s e l e c t t h e 'YES' opt i on a n d p r e s s Key t o confirm formatting. ( 5 ) T h e n a yellow f r a m e will a p p e a r : F o r m a t t i n g C a r d . (At this s t e p , p l e a s e b e p a t i e n t while t h e m e m o r y c a r d is format t ed. ) (6) When formatting the memory card is complete, the yellow frame will disappear. In this t i me y o u c a n p r e s s Key t o r e t u r n t o r e c or di ng interface, a n d d a s h c a m will automatica ll y s t a r t recording. 2.2 Install Cam onto Car Windshield 2.2.1 Suggested Installation Location Host: The b e s t position t o install on t h e car glass behind t h e rearview mirror. Rear Cam: The best position to install in the middle of rear windshield in the car. 2.2.2 About Electrostatic Stickers Introduce: P l e a s e t e a r off this m a s k a n d stick it o n t h e c a r front windshield Paste method: (1) First c h o o s e t h e location w h e r e t h e recorder will b e a t t a c h e d , a n d w i p e it w i t h S c r e e n Cleaning Paper. (2) Tear off t h e pr ot ect i ve film a n d stick it o n t h e s e l e c t e d position. (3) Use scraper to remove the air bubbles between Sticker and the glass. PS: Please stick it on a flat surface without air bubbles, o t h e r w i s e it will n o t b e firm!!! 2.2.3 About Install the Bracket (1) Push 3M Stick Bracket into the bracket slot of the holder rabbet of d a s h c a m f r om right t o left until it clicks. (2) Tear off t h e r e d pr ot ect i ve film o n 3M Stick Bracket. (3) Attach the bracket to Electrostatic Sticker, press for about 10-20 seconds, and let Electrostatic Sticker and t h e 3M stick fully fit firmly. PS: Please b e sure to press firmly. And look through outside glass of c a r t o confirm w h e t h e r it is fully fitted!!! 5 2.3 Install Power Cord 2.3.1 About Parking Monitoring Power Cord Please check with another manual: Hardwire Kit With Radar User Guide. 2.3.2 About Car Charging Cable (1) Plug the car charger into car's cigarette lighter port. (2) Insert the 2.5mm round hole interface of the rear lens into the Rear Lens interface of dash cam. (3) Be carefully run the power cord along the g a p in the roof a n d h i d e it u p t o r e a r wi n d s hie ld inside t h e car. (4) Confirm the position of the rear lens to be installed, a n d tear off t h e p r o t e c t i v e film of r e a r l e n s 3 M Stick B r a c k e t a n d stick it on. Select Native Album and Looping Video. Click Play video to view the track of the video. Note: Android system must close the Wi-Fi connection between the phone and the local machine to see the playing tracks on the APP, otherwise, the phone can't access the internet. IOS system doesn't need to. PC GPS video playback GPS function Video interface indicates the GPS is not positioned, Flashing status means the GPS positioning is successful, No flashing. The system time will be synchronized after successful positioning(according to the time zone time set in the menu) In the "GPS status" of the general settings, you can view the real-time GPS CN value. Install GXPlayer player MAC system computer: Search"GPSPlayer"on the application market of Apple computer to install it. 11 Windows system computer: the installation method is as follows. Windows systems, you can automatically generate the GXPlayer installation file from the memory card used in DRIVEYE Dash Cam, find GXPlayer in the file, and click download, and stall Gxplayer player to use. Pull o u t t h e u s e d TF C a r d f r o m d a s h c a m a n d i n s e rt it into the Card Reader. 2 . C o n n e c t t h e C a r d R e a d e r t o t h e USB p o r t o f t h e computer, open the removable disk. 3. W hen playing videos or browsing photos, the corresponding software needs to be installed on the computer. 4. Please select the equivalent folder to view the video you want. 5.
