Powering Up and Pairing
Drone: Turn the drone on. Ensure the drone is completely charged.
Calibration: Place the drone on a level surface for calibration.
Controller: Turn on the controller. Install new batteries before initial use.
Ready to Fly: When the controller LEDs turn solid, the drone is ready to fly.
Flight Basics
For easier flying, place the drone on the ground in front of you, facing away from you with green blades forward. Position yourself facing the same direction as the drone.
Launch: Press the LAUNCH button to automatically lift the drone a few feet off the ground.
Altitude Control (Left Thumbstick): Move the left thumbstick up or down to make the drone fly higher or lower. Move it left or right to rotate the drone.
Directional Control (Right Thumbstick): Use the right thumbstick to fly the drone forward, backward, left, or right.
Land: Press the LAND button to automatically land the drone. Alternatively, hold the left thumbstick all the way down for approximately 2.5 seconds after the drone has landed to stop the motors.
Normal and Sport Flight Modes
Normal Mode: Best for new pilots. Press LAUNCH for takeoff. The drone maintains altitude, and you can adjust height with the left thumbstick.
Sport Mode: Better for experienced pilots. When the left thumbstick is pushed all the way up, the drone's motors spin as fast as possible while maintaining stability. Pushing the left thumbstick all the way down stops the motors.
Flight Controls Overview
Left Control Stick: Controls rotation (left/right) and altitude (up/down).
Right Control Stick: Controls forward/backward and left/right directional movement.
STUNT Button: Initiates stunt maneuvers.
Power Button: Turns the drone and controller on/off.
Trim Controls: Adjusts for drifting (Forward/Backward Trim, Left/Right Trim).
LAUNCH/LAND Button: Initiates automatic takeoff and landing.
Mode Buttons: Selects between NORMAL and SPORT flight modes.
Reset Controller: Hold the STUNT button for 3 seconds to reset the controller to factory settings.
Emergency Stop: Press and release the power button to immediately stop the drone.
Cine Touch Stunts
Important Note: Once a stunt is initiated, do not adjust the throttle or use other controls until the stunt is complete.
Barrel Roll (Left or Right): While flying forward or backward, tap the STUNT button.
Flip in 4 Directions:
- Bring the drone to a mid-air hover without moving forward, backward, or sideways. Release the right thumbstick.
- While hovering, press and hold the STUNT button.
- Quickly tap the right thumbstick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) to perform the flip.
Stunt Caution: Attempt stunts only when the drone is at least 6 feet in the air with a minimum clearance of 6 feet in all directions.
Replacing Damaged Blades
Using a fork or tool, gently pry the damaged blade from the motor shaft. Replace with a new blade.
Blade Identification: Blades are typically marked 'A' or 'B' for specific motor positions. Ensure correct replacement.
Troubleshooting and Flight Assists
Drone Upside Down: Motors will stop spinning.
Out of Range: The drone will automatically level itself. If the controller comes back into range before landing, pressing up on the left thumbstick can cancel the automatic landing.
Low Battery Warning: Drone LEDs will blink rapidly when the battery is at 10% or less.
Battery Depleted: The drone will automatically level and land. This cannot be interrupted.
No Controller Input: If no input is received for 15 seconds, the drone will automatically level itself.
Trim Adjustments
Drifting Forward: Press the 'B' button multiple times until the drone stops drifting forward.
Drifting Backward: Press the 'F' button multiple times until the drone stops drifting backward.
Drifting Left: Press the 'R' button multiple times until the drone stops drifting left.
Drifting Right: Press the 'L' button multiple times until the drone stops drifting right.
Trim Reset: Hold the 'F' and 'B' buttons down simultaneously for 2 seconds to reset trim adjustments to the middle range.
Trim Indicator: When the controller LED flashes 3 times quickly, the trim is at the middle of its range.
Adjustment Tip: If uncomfortable trimming in flight, land the drone on a flat surface to make adjustments.
Installing Batteries in the Controller
Open the battery compartment on the controller and insert AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Charging the Drone
Charging Process: Connect the USB charging cable to the drone and a power source (computer or charging block). A red light indicates charging; a green light indicates fully charged.
Charging Precautions:
- Allow the drone to cool to room temperature before charging after use.
- Charge in an isolated area away from excessive heat or moisture.
- If the battery appears damaged or swollen, discard it according to local recycling laws.
- Do not modify, heat, or wet the battery. Only use the provided charger.
Safety Supervision and Precautions
Adult Supervision: An adult should check the drone and battery for damage before each use.
Blade Hazard: The drone has high-speed rotating blades that can cause damage or injury. Operate responsibly.
Flying Space: Ensure adequate flying space. Avoid flying near interior fans or vents. Keep a safe distance from roads, power lines, and people.
Safe Operation: Never attempt to retrieve the drone from high places or hazardous locations. Do not fly at night. Keep the drone in sight at all times. Discontinue operation if the drone flies out of view. Avoid flying near spectators or animals.
General Safety: Keep rotors away from fingers, hair, and eyes. Always launch from a flat surface. Never leave the drone unattended while powered on. Read all enclosed information before operating.
Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) Battery Safety
WARNING: LiPo batteries pose a severe risk of fire and injury if mishandled. They may explode, overheat, or ignite.
Battery Usage: Use the LiPo battery only with the included drone and charger.
Precautions:
- Keep away from flammable materials.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or place in fire/hot places.
- Avoid dropping or strong impacts.
- Keep dry and away from water.
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly and dispose of them properly.
- Remove the battery if the device is not used for a long period.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open the outer casing.
- Do not leave the battery connected to the drone when not in use.
- Do not stress, press, or drop the battery.
- Never charge the battery unattended. Monitor the charging process continuously.
- Disconnect the charging wire once the battery is fully charged.
- Avoid charging or storing the battery in a car during extreme temperatures.
- Caution against puncturing the battery, as this can cause a fire.
LiPo Battery Disposal: LiPo batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly according to local laws and regulations. Do not mix with household waste.
