USER'S MANUAL
I. Summary
This instrument is a 6000 counts hand-held automatic range True RMS clamp digital meter. Its circuit design utilizes a large-scale integrated circuit (ADC) as the core and features a full-range overload protection circuit. It can measure AC and DC voltage, low-pass filter VFC voltage, low impedance Low Z voltage, AC and DC current, resistance, diode, continuity test, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, temperature, and other parameters. It also includes data hold, relative value measurement, surge current measurement, torch function, NCV function, live wire judgment, under-voltage display, and automatic shutdown functions.
II. Open Packing for Checking
Open the box, take out the meter, and check the items below for missing or damaged parts:

III. Safety Notes
The meter's design complies with CE certification, IEC61010 related terms, double insulation, and Safety standard for overvoltage CAT III 600V. Failure to use the clamp meter according to the operating instructions may weaken or lose its protection.
- Check the clamp meter and test leads before use for any damage or abnormal phenomena. Do not use if test leads or housing insulation is obviously damaged, or if the LCD has no display.
- Do not use the clamp meter unless the back cover and battery cover are properly secured to avoid electric shock.
- Ensure fingers do not exceed the hand part of the test lead range when measuring. Avoid contact with exposed electrical wires, connectors, or unused inputs to prevent electric shock.
- Ensure the function switch is in the correct position before measurement. Do not change ranges during measurement to prevent damage.
- Do not apply more than DC1000V/AC750V between the meter terminals and ground to avoid electric shock and damage.
- Exercise caution when measuring voltages higher than 36V DC or 25V AC to avoid electric shock.
- Use the clamp meter according to the manual. Do not measure voltages or currents exceeding the allowable input value. Before measuring resistance, capacitance, diode, or circuit continuity, disconnect all power supplies and discharge capacitors.
- When the LCD displays the "?" symbol, replace the battery promptly for accurate measurements. Remove the battery if the meter will not be used for an extended period.
- Do not alter the internal wiring of the clamp meter to prevent damage or user injury.
- Do not store or use the clamp meter in environments with high temperature, high humidity, flammable materials, explosive substances, or strong electromagnetic fields.
- Clean the meter case with a soft cloth and neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive materials or solvents that could corrode or damage the instrument.

VIII. Button Function
Button Introduction: Short press (< 2 seconds), Long press (≥ 2 seconds)
- Data hold button (HOLD B/L): Press the HOLD B/L key to enter reading hold measurement mode. Press again to exit. Long press to turn the backlight on/off. The backlight turns off automatically after 15 seconds.
- Select button (SELECT/V.F.C): Short press: Switches between NCV and live wire judgment tests (NCV range). Switches AC/DC voltage/current (voltage/current range). Switches frequency/duty cycle (frequency range). Switches Celsius/Fahrenheit (temperature range). Switches resistance, capacitance, diode, on-off tests (resistance range). Long press (AC voltage range): Activates V.F.C. mode for low-pass filter voltage test.
- Relative value measurement (REL/): Short press: Enters relative value measurement for AC/DC voltage, capacitance, AC current, and temperature. Long press: Turns the torch light on/off.
- Surge current test (ZERO/INR): Short press (DC current range): Clears the open circuit base value. Long press (AC current range): Enters surge current test mode (displays "----" and "INR"). Long press again to exit. Surge current measurement captures True RMS of maximum current within 200ms.
- Automatic shutdown function: The meter has an APO function that automatically shuts down after 14 minutes of inactivity to save power. It beeps 3 times before shutdown. To disable APO, hold down SELECT/V.F.C while turning the range switch.
IX. Operate Instructions
1. AC Current and Surge Current Measurement
- Set the dial knob to the current range (defaults to AC current). Short press V.F.C. to switch to DC current.
- Press and hold the trigger to open the clamp head, grab the conductor, and slowly release the trigger until the clamp head is fully closed. Ensure the conductor is centered in the clamp head for accuracy. The meter measures only one conductor at a time.
- Read the True RMS of AC current from the display.
- Press REL to test relative value (REL character appears). Press again to exit.
- Long press ZERO/INR at AC current range for surge current test. The appliance's instantaneous maximum current can be measured. Long press again to exit. Surge current is True RMS of max current within 200ms.
Notes:
- Current measurement is for 0°C~40°C. Hold trigger without sudden release; Hall element is sensitive to magnetism, thermal, and mechanical stress.
- Ensure conductor is centered in the clamp head for accuracy (±1.0% error otherwise).
- Continuous test time for currents >500A should not exceed 60 seconds.
2. DC Current Measurement
- Turn knob to current range (defaults to AC). Short press V.F.C. to switch to DC.
- If open circuit display is not zero, short press ZERO/INR to clear. High current measurements may leave residual magnetism.
- Press and hold trigger, clamp conductor, slowly release until fully closed. Ensure conductor is centered for accuracy. Measures one conductor at a time.
- Read measured current from the display.
Notes:
- Current measurement for 0°C~40°C. For DC, positive current is up to down (panel up). Hold trigger without sudden release.
- Ensure conductor is centered for accuracy (±1.0% error otherwise).
- After high DC current tests, perform an AC test to eliminate residual magnetic signal.
- Continuous test time for currents >500A should not exceed 60 seconds.
3. AC Voltage Measurement (V~) and Low-Pass Filter Voltage (V.F.C.)
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to voltage range. Short press V.F.C. to switch to AC voltage. Connect leads in parallel to power supply/load.
- Read True RMS of AC voltage from display.
- Long press V.F.C. at AC voltage range to toggle low-pass filter for inverter/variable frequency motor signals.
Notes:
- Do not input > DC1000V or AC750V.
- Exercise caution with high voltages.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
- Display shows "⚡" warning for voltages > 24V DC/AC.
- Wear safety equipment for voltages > 36V.
4. LowZ Low Impedance AC Voltage Measurement
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to low impedance AC voltage range. Connect leads in parallel to power supply/load.
- Read True RMS of AC voltage from display.
Notes:
- Do not input > AC300V.
- Exercise caution with high voltages.
- Wait 3 minutes after using LowZ function before subsequent LowZ measurements to eliminate false voltages.
- Display shows "⚡" warning for voltages > 24V AC. Wear safety equipment.
5. DC Voltage Measurement
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to voltage range (defaults to DC). Connect leads in parallel to power supply/load.
- Read measured voltage from display.
Notes:
- Do not input > DC1000V or AC750V.
- Exercise caution with high voltages.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
- Display shows "⚡" warning for voltages > 24V DC/AC.
- Wear safety equipment for voltages > 36V.
6. Resistance Measurement
- Turn knob to resistance range.
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Connect test leads to the measured resistance and read the value on the LCD.
Notes:
- "OL" displays for open circuit or resistance exceeding range.
- For on-line resistance, turn off all power and discharge capacitors.
- Low resistance measurements may have 0.1-0.2Ω error. Use REL mode for accuracy (short circuit, press REL, then measure).
- If resistance is >0.5Ω when short-circuited, check test leads.
- High resistance measurements (>1MΩ) may take seconds to stabilize.
- Do not input > DC 42V or AC 30V.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
7. Diode and Continuity Test
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to resistance range, short press V.F.C. to select diode or continuity mode.
- Continuity test: Buzzer sounds if resistance <500Ω.
- Diode test: Connect leads to diode's positive/negative poles. LCD displays forward voltage drop.
Notes:
- "OL" displays for reversed diode connection or polarity.
- Turn off all power and discharge capacitors before diode/continuity tests.
- Diode test open circuit voltage: ~3.9V. Continuity test open circuit voltage: ~2V. Range: 600Ω.
- Do not input > DC 42V or AC 30V.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
8. Capacitance Measurement
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to resistance range, short press V.F.C. to switch to capacitance measurement.
- Connect leads to capacitor, ensuring correct polarity.
- Read capacitance value from display. Use REL mode for <10nF for accuracy.
Notes:
- "OL" displays for shorted capacitor or value exceeding range.
- Measurements >600µF may take time. Discharge capacitors before measurement, especially high voltage ones.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
- Do not input > 36V AC/DC.
9. Frequency Measurement
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, black into COM.
- Turn knob to Hz. Connect leads in parallel to signal source.
- Short press SELECT/V.F.C. to switch between frequency and duty cycle.
- Read frequency or duty cycle from display.
Notes:
- Frequency input amplitude requirements: 10Hz-100kHz: 1Vrms≤input amplitude≤20Vrms. 100kHz-10MHz: 3Vrms≤input amplitude≤20Vrms.
- Duty cycle: 10%-90% range suitable for 10Hz-1kHz square wave; 30%-70% range suitable for 1kHz-10kHz square wave. Input amplitude: 3Vpp≤input amplitude≤20Vpp.
- Do not input frequency voltage > 20Vrms.
- Disconnect leads after measurements.
10. Temperature Measurement
- Turn knob to °C/°F. Display shows ambient temperature.
- Insert K-type thermocouple into corresponding hole.
- Measure object surface with probe. Read Celsius value from screen after seconds.
- Press SELECT/V.F.C. to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Notes:
- Ambient temperature for instrument accuracy: 18-28°C.
- Do not input > DC 42V or AC 30V.
- Remove probe after use.
11. Live Wire Recognition (Live)
- Turn knob to NCV range (defaults to NCV). Short press SELECT/V.F.C. to switch to Live function (displays "Live").
- Insert red test lead into VΩ•LIVE•°C•°F jack, touch measured position.
- Audible and visual alarm indicates a live wire. No change means not live.
Notes:
- Operate according to safety rules.
- Detects AC standard main live wire (AC 110V~AC 380V).
12. Non-Contact AC Voltage Induction Measurement (NCV)
- Turn knob to NCV range (displays "NCV").
- NCV induction voltage range: 48V~250V. Place clamp head near charged electric field (AC power line, socket).
- Sensing AC voltage: Meter displays "----" and emits "drop, drop" alarm sound. More "----" segments and higher buzzer frequency indicate stronger induction field.

Measured value = measured display value - test lead open circuit value.
For ≤1μF, use REL mode to measure and deduct open circuit readings. Accuracy is 5% to 100% of range.
Large capacitance response time: ≥1mF about 8s. Error excludes lead distributed capacitance.

Overload protection: 250V DC/AC RMS. Accessory: Type K thermocouple. Accuracy may be affected by ambient temperature difference (±5°C requires 1 hour stabilization).
XI. Instrument Maintenance
1. Power Supply
Uses 2 AAA batteries. Replace batteries when:
- LCD displays the "?" low battery symbol.
- LCD backlight brightness decreases.
- Buzzer sound becomes smaller.
2. General Maintenance
Maintenance and service should be performed by qualified personnel or designated service departments.
Remove batteries if the instrument is not used for a long time to prevent leakage corrosion.
Protect from water, dust, and falls.
