Installation Information
To use the SU-WB1 Sound Bar Bracket, it must be attached to the SU-WL905 or SU-WL900 Wall-Mount Bracket, which are sold separately. Compatibility depends on your TV's or LCD Monitor's specifications.

Required TV or LCD Monitor Specification:
The distance from the bottom edge of the TV or LCD Monitor to the lower screw for the wall mount (labelled as Ⓐ in the diagram) should be approximately 88 mm to 155 mm.

⚠️ WARNING: PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
This product should only be installed by a professional installer trained to determine the wall's strength for supporting the TV or LCD Monitor with Sound Bar. Improper installation can lead to the TV or Sound Bar falling, causing serious injury. Sony is not liable for damage or injury from mishandling or improper installation.

Sufficient expertise is required for installation. Read this manual thoroughly for safe installation. Sony is not liable for damages or injury from mishandling or improper installation. Provide this manual to the customer after installation.
General Precautions for Customers:
⚠️ WARNING: Serious injury or death can result from fire, electric shock, or the product dropping if precautions are not observed.
- Be sure to subcontract installation to licensed contractors and keep small children away during installation.
- Incorrect installation may cause the TV or LCD Monitor with Sound Bar to fall, leading to serious injury (bruises, fractures).
- If the wall is unstable, uneven, or not perpendicular, the unit may fall, causing injury or property damage. The wall must support at least four times the total weight of the TV, LCD Monitor, and Sound Bar.
- Ensure the Wall-Mount Bracket and Sound Bar Bracket are securely installed on the wall.
This manual provides correct handling and important precautions to prevent accidents. It is your responsibility to read, understand, and follow all instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury or property damage, and may void the warranty.

- Do not place this product close to medical devices. This product contains magnets that may interfere with pacemakers, shunt valves, or other medical devices. Consult a doctor before use if you use such devices.

Installing the Sound Bar Bracket (For Sony Dealers)
⚠️ WARNING: These instructions are for Sony dealers. Read safety precautions and pay special attention to safety during installation, maintenance, and checking.
- Install the Sound Bar Bracket securely to the Wall-Mount Bracket following this manual's instructions. Loose screws can cause the bracket to fall, leading to injury or property damage.
- Use the supplied screws and attachment parts properly. Using substitute items may cause the Sound Bar to fall, leading to bodily injury or damage.
- Assemble the Sound Bar Bracket properly according to the instructed procedure. Loose screws can cause the Sound Bar to fall, leading to bodily injury or damage.
- Ensure a distance of more than 70 mm between the TV or LCD Monitor and the Sound Bar.
- Avoid damaging the TV or LCD Monitor corner during installation. Exercise caution to prevent hitting your head or body.
- Tighten screws securely in the designated positions. Failure to do so may cause the Sound Bar to fall, leading to injury or damage.
- Be careful not to subject the Sound Bar to shock during installation. A shock may cause it to fall or break apart, resulting in injury.
- After proper installation, secure the cables properly. Tangled cables can cause injury or damage.
- Do not allow the AC power cord or connecting cable to be pinched. Pinching can expose internal conductors, causing short circuits, electrical breaks, fire, or electric shock.

Installation Steps
Installing the Sound Bar Bracket to the Wall-Mount Bracket
Step 1: Set the length of SB1
Refer to the table below, which indicates the required length based on the distance (A) from the TV/monitor bottom edge to the lower screw hole.

Step 2: Set the length of SB2
Attach the screws M4B according to the table. Attach SB2 to SB1 using M5 screws.

- Note: Be sure to insert the end of SB2 into the slot of SB1. Adjust the position for your Sound Bar before fixing the screws.
Step 3: Attach SB1 to the Wall-Mount Bracket
Attach SB1 to the Wall-Mount Bracket. Ensure the correct hole pattern (e.g., 300mm or 400mm) is used.

- Note: Be sure to insert the end of SB1 into the slot of the Wall-Mount Bracket.
Installing the Sound Bar on the Wall
Step 1: Connect the cables from the TV or LCD Monitor to the Sound Bar.

Step 2: Attach the Sound Bar to the Sound Bar Bracket.
For HT-A9000 / A8000 / A5000 models, attach the Sound Bar to the assembled bracket.

Step 3: Route the cables for the TV or LCD Monitor and Sound Bar.
Use cable management clips (WC1, WC2, WT2) to route and secure the cables neatly.

Step 4: Attach SB6 and SB3.
Attach SB6 and SB3 to the assembly as shown in the diagrams.

Step 5: Secure the Sound Bar.
Secure the Sound Bar using the appropriate screws supplied with your model (e.g., screws supplied with HT-A9000 / A8000).

Step 6: Confirming the Completion of the Installation
Check the following points:
- The cord and the cable are not twisted or pinched.
⚠️ WARNING: Improper placement of the AC power cord (mains lead), etc., may cause fire or electric shock through a short circuit. Be sure to confirm the completion of the installation for safety.
Other Information
When removing the Sound Bar, reverse the previous installation procedure.
⚠️ WARNING: Two or more persons are needed to transport a Sound Bar.
