Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the DX0104 USB-C Docking Station. This versatile 15-in-1 docking station enhances productivity by expanding connectivity options for USB-C enabled laptops. It supports dual/triple display configurations, high-speed data transfer, and power delivery.

Physical Description
The docking station is an elongated, rectangular device designed to sit on a desk. The rear panel houses all the input/output ports. Indicator lights may be present on the front panel.

Display Capabilities
The DX0104 docking station allows for expanded display setups, supporting up to three displays simultaneously, including the laptop's built-in screen. The specific configurations depend on the laptop's capabilities and the operating system.
Display Configurations:
- Single Display: Connect one external monitor via HDMI, DP, or VGA.
- Dual Display: Connect two external monitors using various combinations of HDMI, DP, and VGA ports.
- Triple Display: Connect up to three external monitors (laptop screen + two external, or three external if the laptop supports it) using the available video outputs.
Note: Refer to your laptop's specifications for maximum supported external displays and resolutions.
Configuring Displays on macOS
To set up your external monitors with the docking station on a Mac:
- Connect the docking station to your MacBook and then connect your monitors to the docking station's video output ports (HDMI, DP, VGA).
- Navigate to your Mac's System Preferences.
- Select the 'Displays' option.
- In the Displays settings, you will see icons representing your connected displays. Drag these icons to arrange them in a layout that matches the physical placement of your monitors on your desk.
- Choose between 'Extend Display' (each monitor shows different content) or 'Mirror Display' (all monitors show the same content) as per your preference.
Note: The exact appearance of the display settings may vary slightly depending on your macOS version.
Setting Up Two External Displays
To utilize two external monitors:
- Connect two monitors to the available HDMI or DisplayPort outputs on the docking station.
- Configure the display arrangement and mode (extend/mirror) within your operating system's display settings as described above.
View Controller / Display Management
The docking station may offer a 'View Controller' or similar functionality, often integrated into the operating system's display settings or a dedicated utility, to manage and visualize your multi-monitor setup. This allows for easy selection and arrangement of display outputs.
Note: Specific management tools or options can vary based on the operating system and driver software.
General Notes
For optimal performance, it is recommended to connect the docking station's power adapter to the USB-C PD port to ensure sufficient power for connected devices and the laptop.
Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) and Power Delivery (PD) for full functionality.
