Alarm of Bucket Full
When the water bucket is full, the "Tank Full" symbol will flash. The compressor and fan will shut off. After a 3-minute delay, a beeping noise will sound. The unit will not run again until the bucket is emptied and properly placed back inside. The bucket should be cleaned weekly with a mild detergent to prevent mold and bacteria growth. Ensure it is completely dry before re-installing.
Note: Hold the bucket with both hands when emptying.
Note: When the bucket is full or removed, the compressor turns off, but the fan may continue to run for a few minutes. This is normal.
Note: Do not place a full bucket on the floor as it may spill due to an uneven bottom.
Note: It is normal for the unit to exhaust warm air from the top during operation.
Continuous Drainage
Connect the drainpipe to the unit's drain hole for continuous operation without needing to empty the bucket.
- Place the unit on a level floor, remove the bucket, and take out the bucket chip.
- Install the drainpipe onto the drain nozzle.
- Replace the bucket correctly, ensuring the drainpipe passes through the designated gap without being pressed.
- Press the [ON/OFF] button to run the unit.
Note: If continuous drainage is not needed, remove the drainpipe and replace the bucket correctly; water will then flow into the bucket.
Drainpipe Installation: Please install the drainpipe as shown in the diagrams. Incorrect installation may prevent proper drainage.
Correct Drainage Setup: The drainpipe is positioned correctly, allowing water to flow downwards into a container or drain.
Incorrect Drainage Setup: Diagrams show incorrect placements where water might spill or not drain properly.
Important Notice: If the unit is placed on an unlevel surface or the drainpipe is not installed correctly, water may splash out from the bucket, causing the unit to stop. Check the ground for levelness and ensure the drainpipe is correctly installed. The bucket must also be installed correctly.
Automatic Defrost
When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor cycles off, and the fan continues to run until the frost disappears. The compressor and fan will then restart automatically.
Location Requirements
- The unit is not effective in drying adjacent enclosed storage areas unless there is adequate air circulation.
- Do not use outdoors. This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
- Place the appliance on a smooth, level floor surface strong enough to support the unit with a full water bucket.
- Allow at least 45cm (approx. 18 inches) of clearance around and above the unit for efficient working.
- Place the appliance in an area where the temperature will not drop below 5°C (41°F).
- Use the dehumidifier in areas with excessive moisture, such as kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms, and dishwashing areas.
- Keep the dehumidifier away from clothes dryers.
- Using the dehumidifier in a basement can help prevent moisture damage.
- For maximum efficiency, operate the dehumidifier in an enclosed area. Close all doors, windows, and other outside openings.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Reduced airflow can lead to poor performance and unit damage.
Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance using the [POWER] button, wait a few minutes, and then unplug it from the mains socket.
Cleaning the Cabinet
- Clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth.

Before using the appliance after storage, ensure the power cable and plug are undamaged and the earth system is efficient. Follow the installation instructions precisely.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Causes | Solutions |
|---|---|---|
| Dehumidifier does not start | The dehumidifier is unplugged. | Make sure the dehumidifier's plug is pushed completely into the outlet. |
| The fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped. | Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box and replace the fuse or reset the breaker. | |
| Dehumidifier has reached its present humidity level or the bucket is full. | Change to a lower humidity setting or empty the water bucket and replace it properly. | |
| Bucket is not in the proper position. | The bucket must be in place and securely seated for the dehumidifier to operate. | |
| Dehumidifier does not dry the air as it should | Power Failure. | There is a protective time delay (up to 3 minutes) to prevent compressor overload. The unit may not start normal dehumidification for 3 minutes after being powered on. |
| Not enough time allowed for the unit to remove moisture. | When first installed, allow at least 24 hours to maintain the desired dryness. | |
| Airflow is restricted. | Ensure no curtains, blinds, or furniture are blocking the front or back of the dehumidifier. Refer to the "Choosing a Location" section. | |
| Dirty filter. | Refer to the "Cleaning the Filter" section. | |
| The Humidity Control may not be set low enough. | For drier air, press the [HUMIDITY] button to lower the desired room humidity, or set the dehumidifier to the maximum setting (e.g., 'CO' symbol if applicable) for maximum dehumidification. | |
| Doors and windows may not be closed tightly. | Check that all doors, windows, and other openings are securely closed. | |
| Appliance runs too long | Clothes dryer may be blowing moist air into the room. | Install the dehumidifier away from the dryer. The dryer should be vented outside. |
| Room temperature is too low. | Moisture removal is best at higher room temperatures. Lower room temperatures reduce the moisture removal rate. This model is designed to operate at temperatures above 5°C (41°F). | |
| The area is too large. | The capacity of the appliance may not meet the area of the room. | |
| Fan noise | The air is passing through the appliance. | This is normal. |
| Water on the floor | The drain connection may be aging or loose. | Check the drain connection and ensure the appliance is placed level. |
| Water on the floor | The drainpipe is connected, but the water is not drained. | If using the bucket, remove the drainpipe and put back the drain cover. If using continuous drainage, ensure the drainpipe is installed correctly. |
