Instant Trigger Blockers
The instant triggers can be turned into instant buttons. To activate or deactivate them:
- Press the button once to unlock it.
- Press and hold the button.
- Slide the button up to activate the blocker, or down to deactivate it.
Lock Button
The Lock button can be used to deactivate the Menu and View buttons, preventing accidental presses during gameplay.
Charge the Controller
There are two methods to charge your controller:
Classic Charging (Around 7H):
Connect the charging station to your gaming device (Xbox or PC) and place the controller on it. The controller will automatically start charging, and the status will be displayed on the controller's screen.
Fast Charging (Around 3H):
Connect your controller directly to your Xbox or PC using the supplied USB cable. The controller will automatically start charging, and the status will be displayed on the controller's screen.
When the controller is powered on, the controller's screen displays the battery level next to the battery icon.
Full Reset of the Controller
To perform a full reset, use a paper clip to activate the button inside the reset hole located on the rear of the controller.
Use the Revolution X Unlimited Application
The Nacon Revolution X Unlimited application allows for deep customization of your controller. It is available for free on Xbox and PC via the Microsoft Store.
- In the Microsoft Store search bar, type "Revolution X Unlimited".
- Download the application. Note: Ensure you download "Revolution X Unlimited" and not "Revolution-X", as the latter is incompatible.
- Connect the controller to your PC.
- Set the controller to the following modes: Wired, Xbox, or Advanced.
- Launch the application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to personalize your profile.
Xbox and PC Modes
The Revolution X Unlimited controller is compatible with both Xbox and PC. To switch between Xbox mode and PC mode, press the Multi-function button. The interactive screen displays the controller icon in the top left corner. The interface is green in Xbox mode and purple in PC mode.
Xbox Mode
In Xbox mode, the controller functions as a standard Xbox controller on both Xbox and PC. The latency is fixed at 4 ms to match console requirements and cannot be changed.
PC Mode
In PC mode, the controller can only be used on PC. The Xbox console will not recognize it. To switch to PC mode, the controller must not be connected to the Xbox. PC mode offers additional features:
- Reduced latency: 1 ms in Wired mode and 2 ms in Wireless mode.
- Gyroscopic features can be activated.
- With the application, shortcuts can be mapped to keyboard keys.
Latency (PC Only)
The controller's latency can be adjusted via the application, but this feature is only available in PC mode.
- Click "PC".
- Click "Communication speed".
- Select a speed: "Normal" (4ms/4ms), "Reactive" (2ms/2ms), or "Boosted Wired mode" (2ms/1ms).
- Click "Confirm".

Classic and Advanced Modes
Your controller has two modes: Classic and Advanced. Use the Classic/Advanced mode button on the back to switch between them.
- Classic Mode (C): The controller operates like a standard Xbox or PC controller. You can customize settings locally using the interactive screen without the application. Up to twelve profiles can be customized.
- Advanced Mode (A): Allows for deeper customization. You can use the application to customize all settings and profiles. Up to eight profiles can be customized.
Profiles
You can access a total of twenty profiles. Switch between profiles by pressing the Profile button.
- Profiles in Classic Mode: Twelve profiles are available (four for Xbox, four for PC, four for Bluetooth®). These are for quick and easy setup without the application and can only be changed locally via the screen.
- Profiles in Advanced Mode: Eight profiles are available (four for Xbox, four for PC or Bluetooth®). These are for deeper setup customization and require the Xbox or PC application.
Using the Connection Modes
Wired Mode
- Connect the controller to your gaming device (Xbox or PC).
- Set the Mode button to Wired.
- Press the Nexus button.
Using the Wireless Mode (Dongle)
A dongle is required for wireless mode.
- Connect the dongle to your gaming device (Xbox or PC).
- Set the Mode button to Wireless.
- Press the Nexus button.
Pairing (Dongle)
If you have a new dongle or lose connection, you can re-pair the controller to the dongle:
- On the interactive screen, navigate to Settings > Pairing > Dongle.
- Press the dongle button. A successful connection message will display.
Use the Bluetooth® Connection
When the controller is set to Bluetooth® mode:
- Audio and vibration features are unavailable due to Bluetooth® protocol limitations.
- The controller can only be used with devices compatible with the Android operating system.
For Gaming
- Set your gaming device to pairing mode.
- Set the Mode button to Bluetooth®.
- Press the Nexus button.
- Press the Multi-function button to activate the interactive screen.
- Navigate to Pairing 2. The pairing process will begin, and a successful connection message will display.
Tip: To quickly turn off the controller in Bluetooth® or radio frequency mode, set the Mode button to Wired. This will turn off the controller immediately.
For Audio Mixing
In Wired or Wireless (dongle) mode, you can use a dual connection to mix audio from your gaming device with audio from a Bluetooth® device (e.g., a mobile phone).
- Set your gaming device to pairing mode.
- Set the Mode button to Wired or Wireless.
- Press the Nexus button.
- Press the Multi-function button to activate the interactive screen.
- On the interactive screen, navigate to Settings ⚙️ > Pairing ? > Bluetooth®. The pairing process will begin, and a successful connection message will display.
Interactive Screen
The interactive LCD screen displays controller status information and allows for local customization without the application.
- To activate or deactivate the screen, press the Multi-function button.
- To navigate the screen, use the D-pad and the A and B buttons.

Changing Settings Using the Screen
The screen allows you to change the following settings:
Audio
In Wired or Wireless (dongle) mode, you can adjust audio settings when a wired headset is connected:
- Volume: Adjust the volume of your wired headset.
- Mic gain: Increase or decrease the microphone gain of your wired headset.
- Game chat mixer: Adjust the game chat balance on your Xbox.
- Mixing: Adjust the audio mix between your console's audio and the audio from your paired Bluetooth® device. This allows you to listen to music or videos from your phone while playing. Note: The mixing option cannot be used for the microphone as data is only sent to the gaming device.
If the controller is in Bluetooth® mode, the screen's audio options are deactivated.
Joysticks
Customize joystick behavior:
- Response curve: Change the joystick response curve using preset settings. For custom curves, use the PC/Xbox application in Advanced mode.
- Invert joysticks: Invert the joystick axes.
- Dead zone: Adjust the joystick dead zone.
- Shooter Pro mode: Activate or deactivate this mode, which removes the deadzone on the selected joystick, recommended for shooting games.
- Sensitivity + mode: Activate or deactivate this mode for increased diagonal input for faster on-screen movement.
- Reverse the Y axis: Reverse the Y-axis input.
- Gyroscope mode (PC mode only): Activate or deactivate the gyroscope. This mode emulates joystick or D-pad movement using the controller's spatial orientation. In Advanced mode, you can only activate or deactivate the gyroscope. For dead zone adjustments or mapping gyroscope to D-pad/joysticks, use the application.
Mapping
Mapping in Classic Mode
- Map shortcuts to any controller button.
- Remap shortcuts locally via the screen.
- Use preset profiles for shortcuts, but custom profiles cannot be saved.
Mapping in Advanced Mode
- Create new profiles to save shortcuts.
- In PC mode, map keyboard keys to shortcuts using the application.
- To change a shortcut on the screen while playing, you can only map it to another controller button. Mapping to a keyboard key requires the application.
Customized Settings
- Activate or deactivate Bluetooth® for dual connection in Wired or Wireless mode. The controller automatically reconnects to the last connected device.
- Launch pairing for dongle or Bluetooth® connection.
- Activate or deactivate any of the four vibration engines independently.
- Eco mode: Activate or deactivate Battery saving mode.
- Adjust screen brightness.
- Set a time for automatic screen turn-off when not in use.
- Set a time for automatic screen brightness reduction.

Customize the Controller and the Joysticks
Change the Joystick Head or Directional Cross
- Carefully pull off the joystick head or directional cross.
- Position the new joystick head or directional cross.
- Press until you hear a click sound.
Change the Metal Joystick Rings
To achieve a more reactive or precise response in certain games, you can change the rings on your joysticks:
- Carefully pull off the joystick head.
- Remove the metal joystick ring.
- Position the new joystick ring.
- Align the joystick head correctly on top of the shaft.
- Press until you hear a click sound.
Change the Hand Grip Weights
- Push and slide down the hand grip cover to remove it.
- Insert the new weight.
- Slide the cover back into position until you hear a click sound.
