Ice Maker – Basic Use & Maintenance Guide (Home/Commercial)
Installation:
Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
Keep at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the sides for proper ventilation.
Connect to a clean water source (both tap water and purified water are acceptable).
Plug into a standard 110 – 120V grounded outlet.
How to Use:
Turn on the main power switch.
The machine will start automatically and produce ice in cycles.
Ice is stored in the internal ice bin and can be removed using a scoop.
Avoid opening the front cover frequently to ensure optimal ice production.
Daily Operation Tips:
- Ensure water input is stable and continuous.
- Remove any melted water regularly to maintain ice quality.
- If not using for more than 24 hours, turn off the power and drain the water.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Every Day: Wipe the exterior and remove unused ice. Check for clean water input.
- Every Week: Rinse the ice bin and scoop with warm water and mild detergent.
- Every Month: Run a cleaning cycle using vinegar or an approved ice machine cleaner. Rinse thoroughly.
- Water Filters (if installed): Replace every 3 – 6 months.
Safety Notes:
Do not operate in temperatures below 40°F or above 100°F.
Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Always disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
Do not use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Common Issues & Fixes:
- Not Making Ice: Check water supply, clean filter, or inspect for ice blockage.
- Strange Noise: Ensure the machine is level and free of foreign objects.
- Slow Production: Clean condenser or check for high ambient temperature.
