LPH Harness Instruction Guide
LOC PRO™ ADVANCED
Wiring Connection Chart (All Models)
This section provides a wiring overview for various PAC LPH harness models, including the LPA-E4, LPA2.4/LPA2.2, and LPA1.4/LPA1.2. The diagrams illustrate the input and output terminals for these line-output converters.
Models Supported:
- LPA-E4
- LPA2.4 / LPA2.2
- LPA1.4 / LPA1.2
Important Notes:
- The harness includes an inline fuse. Remove it before installation and reinsert it upon completion.
- If your vehicle lacks an ACC (Accessory) source, the harness will not have a "RED" wire for connection.
- The unit utilizes DC Offset to power on and trigger the "REM OUT" signal.
- For the LPA-E4 model, a jumper may need to be adjusted based on your specific application.
- This harness is designed for use with OEM non-amplified audio systems.
Connect the RED BUTT Connector to the aftermarket system's turn-on lead for your amplifiers.

Installation Examples
Example Installation - 4-Channel Amplifier (Harness Cut Required)
This example demonstrates connecting a 4-channel amplifier using the LPH harness, which requires cutting the harness.
- Cut the harness as close as possible to the "CUT HERE AND INSULATE" label. It is crucial to insulate all cut wires to prevent damage to the OEM radio.
- The speaker wires that have been cut will need to be connected to your aftermarket amplifier. Refer to the labels on the harness for correct connections.
- Consult the wiring chart on the first page for connecting your loose wires to the LPA unit.
- This harness is designed for OEM non-amplified systems.

Connections include: LPH to Radio Connection, Loose Wires to LPA, RCA from LPA, and REM OUT from LPA. Labels indicate where to cut and insulate, and where to connect to the aftermarket amplifier.
Example Installation - Mono Amplifier (Harness Cut Not Required)
This example illustrates installing a mono amplifier where cutting the harness is not necessary.
- If using a 2-Channel input LPA, utilize the front speaker wires and insulate any remaining rear speaker wires.
- Crucially, do NOT cut the speaker wires located between the "CUT HERE" labels. This preserves the functionality of the factory speakers.
- This harness is designed for OEM non-amplified systems.

Connections include: LPH to Radio Connection, Loose Wires to LPA, RCA from LPA, and REM OUT from LPA. Labels indicate where to cut and insulate, and where to connect to the aftermarket amplifier, with a specific instruction "DO NOT CUT!!" for certain wires.
