Oven exterior walls can reach temperatures above 50°C (120°F); keep flammable materials at least 1 meter away.
Place the oven at a sufficient distance from flammable materials or materials that may be damaged by heat. Protect the oven from wind or strong air currents that may alter its performance.
Ensure the oven is placed on a flat, stable surface. Accidental movement during use can be dangerous.
Free-standing ovens must be positioned on tables or other fire-resistant surfaces with adequate load-bearing capacity. Adjust feet to level the oven.
For easier handling, it is recommended to remove the chimney, door, and internal tiles before positioning.
LPG Connection (Liquid Propane Gas):
- Connect the LP cylinder to the oven using a suitable flexible rubber hose (60-150 cm).
- The oven inlet connection has a G1/2" F thread. Use a specific adapter for LPG cylinders according to destination country regulations.
- Ensure the hose is tightened with a clamp to avoid accidental losses.
- The cylinder must have a fixed calibration pressure regulator suitable for the gas type and country.
- Avoid twisting, bending, or crushing the hose. Replace if signs of wear or expired date are present.
- Pressure Regulator (Not Supplied): Must comply with local/national standards with a nominal pressure output of: Category I3+(28-30/37) Propane 37 mbar, Butane 28-30 mbar; Category I3B/P (30) Propane/Butane 30 mbar; Category I3B/P (37) Propane/Butane 37 mbar; Category I3B/P (50) Propane/Butane 50 mbar. Never use an unregulated gas source.
- Hose (Not Supplied): Inlet pipe must not be less than: ؽ" = Ø14 mm for Natural Gas; ؾ" = Ø 8 mm for LPG (Max. length 1.5 meters).
- LPG CYLINDER: Recommend using cylinders weighing no more than 10 kg for under-oven trolleys. Max. permissible gas pipe length is 1.5 m. Handle cylinders with care; never place horizontally as the valve may be damaged. Always use the cylinder upright. When positioned horizontally, combustible liquid may reach hoses, creating an explosion hazard. Place cylinders in an accessible location. Do not subject cylinders to heat. Do not store cylinders in homes, basements, or cellars. Propane gas is heavier than air and can accumulate at the lowest level. Do not store spare or empty cylinders near the appliance.
NG Connection (Natural Gas):

Lighting
IMPORTANT:
- Before turning on the oven, check all connections and gas connections.
- Do not lean over the oven when lighting the gas; keep face and body away from the opening.
- When lighting, the door must NOT be closed; the opening must be open.
- The gas control knob must be in the zero (OFF) position.
- Do not move the oven when in use.
Preliminary Procedures:
- After connecting the gas line, check connections for leakage. Repair if necessary.
- With the knob in the zero (OFF) position, press the igniter button to check if it operates.
- If all is well, open the gas cock on the cylinder and light the oven according to model-specific instructions.
Lighting Models: 6050 - Pro
- To light the oven burner, press and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the high flame symbol.
- While holding down the control knob, simultaneously press the ignition button to light the burner. Note: Lighting the burner for the first time, or after it has cooled down, may require several attempts due to air in the gas supply line.
- Once the burner is lit, the ignition button can be released, but the control knob must be held down for a few seconds to ensure the thermocouple is hot enough for the burner to remain lit.
- Release the control knob. The oven burner is lit on a high flame. Preheat the oven by closing the opening with the door and waiting 40 to 50 minutes for the refractory bricks to heat up.
- After 40/50 minutes, the oven is ready for baking. Open the door to place pizzas inside. Immediately after baking, keep the door closed for a couple of minutes to allow the hob to quickly regain temperature. The flame can be adjusted by turning the control knob between min/max positions.
Lighting Models: 6070 - Pro, 8070 - Pro (With Pilot Lights)
- To ignite the pilot light, press and turn the control knob to the spark symbol.
- While holding down the control knob, simultaneously press the ignition button to ignite the pilot light. Note: Igniting the pilot light for the first time, or after it has cooled down, may require some attempts due to air in the gas supply line.
Caution: If the flame does not ignite, release the control knob, return it to zero (OFF), wait a few minutes for unburned gas to disperse, and repeat the lighting procedure. Gas accumulation can cause hazardous flames or detonations.
Important: Visually inspect the flame. If a smell of gas, flashbacks, small pops, or uneven flames occur, there may be a fault in the gas circuit. Switch off the oven immediately.
Switch-off Procedure: Once baking is complete, shut off the cock on the cylinder and wait for the burner to switch off. Turn the control knob to zero (OFF).
Igniter: Uses a 1.5V AA battery. Unscrew the igniter cap, insert the battery observing polarity, and screw the cap back on. Remove the battery for extended periods of inactivity.
Troubleshooting
Ignition Failure or Malfunction
Ignitor: Check battery condition (1.5V AA); replace if flat or oxidized. For inactivity, remove the battery. Check wires and glow plug for damage; replace if damaged. Test circuit by pressing the button with gas shut off. If a spark is visible, the circuit is working; otherwise, check connections. If the system still doesn't operate, the electronic igniter may need replacement.
Valve: If damaged, it may not allow gas to transit or interrupts the flow.
- If no gas flow occurs when setting the knob to "max." (high flame) or "spark" position, ensure the cylinder valve is open.
- During ignition, keep the knob pressed to bypass the thermocouple safety.
- If the flame ignites but goes out when the knob is released, the thermocouple may not be hot enough. Repeat ignition and hold the knob longer.
- If the flame goes out after this operation, check the thermocouple connection, position, and condition. Replace if damaged. If the problem persists, the valve may need replacement.
- If ignition occurs but the flame does not remain independent at the "min" position, the minimum adjustment screw may need adjustment (factory default, do not change unless necessary).
Burner Issues
BURNER: May result in flashbacks or partial ignition.
- If flame returns occur, immediately close the gas supply and turn off the fire. Check for obstructions in the venturi tube (e.g., cobwebs).
- If the flame front does not burn completely along the burner, or if heating is inadequate, small pops or flashbacks may occur. Ensure burner holes are clear of food residue.
- If previous adjustments or injector replacements were made, ensure correct air/gas carburation. Check for incorrectly sized injectors.
- If there are no obstructions and the bores are open, but issues persist, the burner may be defective or worn and may need replacement. Regular maintenance ensures longevity.
- Have a technician carry out control and maintenance. Malfunctions can also depend on incorrect sensor positioning. If the thermocouple is not at the correct distance, it may misread temperature or wear out quickly. If the glow plug is too far, it may fail to produce a spark; if it's in contact, the pulse discharges without a spark.
Technical & Safety Notes
CAUTION: Danger of Burns
- Very hot parts during operation.
- Wear personal protective equipment (gloves or similar) to prevent accidents and burns.
- The door handle, even if made of silicone, may scald after prolonged use if not handled with gloves.
