Curve Characteristics
A graphical representation shows the relationship between voltage, current, and power for the solar panel under standard test conditions. The graph displays two curves: one for current (Amperes) versus voltage (Volts), and another for power (Watts) versus voltage (Volts).
Current vs. Voltage: The current remains relatively constant as voltage increases until it reaches the maximum power point, after which it drops sharply as voltage continues to increase towards open circuit voltage.
Power vs. Voltage: The power output increases with voltage, reaches a peak at the maximum power point (MPP), and then decreases as voltage further increases towards open circuit voltage.
