Introducing ShowerWizard®:
The Future of Smarter Showers:

Say goodbye to wasteful showers and hello to effortless water conservation with the ShowerWizard®--a revolutionary device that transforms your daily routine with simplicity and efficiency. Designed for hassle-free installation, the ShowerWizard® attaches seamlessly between your shower arm and showerhead, just like swapping out a regular shower head. No complicated plumbing, no special tools--just a smarter way to shower. Powered by an integrated rechargeable battery that lasts up to 12 months per charge, the ShowerWizard® keeps your showers running smoothly. And when it is time for a recharge, you will know instantly--the intuitive wake-up indicator shifts from flashing Blue & Green (normal operation) to Blue & Yellow (low battery), signaling that a quick charge is needed. Once fully charged and with the wireless activation button in place, you are ready to go! Just turn on the water, press the button, and enjoy a perfectly timed shower cycle--all while saving water and energy. Smart Showering, Your Way The ShowerWizard® comes pre-programmed with a 7-minute shower cycle, plus a 1-minute bonus time--giving you enough time to rinse off without wasteful overuse. After that, a 5-minute lockout period prevents excessive showering, encouraging smarter habits. Want to customize your settings? No problem. The included Programmer allows the administrator to adjust shower duration, bonus time, and lockout periods-- ensuring the perfect balance between comfort and conservation. And if you ever need to reset to factory defaults, a simple command will restore your settings in seconds. Big Savings, Small Changes Did you know that the average American shower lasts 12 minutes and uses 25.8 gallons (97.7 liters) of water? With the ShowerWizard®, you can cut your shower time by at least 4 minutes, saving up to 8 gallons per shower--without feeling rushed. And the impact is even bigger for Gen Z and Millennials, who take the longest showers.
· Gen Z: 21.2-minute average shower time · Millennials: 18.5-minute average · Boomers: Much shorter showers
By simply reducing shower times to 5 minutes or less, you'll slash water and energy waste, lower utility bills, and contribute to a more sustainable future--all with zero effort.

Quick Start & Daily Use:
The Quick Start Guide helps you gain a basic understanding of your ShowerWizard® and introduces its daily use. Most users find the default settings ideal, but if you choose to change them and later want to return to the defaults, it is an easy 3-step process.
Default Settings:
· 7-minutes of main shower time (with a water "pulse" at the end). The status light is fading from Green to Black · 1-minute of additional bonus time. The status light is fading from Yello to Black. · 5-minutes of lockout until the next shower cycle can start. Light repeating 2 red flashes. NOTE: pause is available during the main and bonus time, it stops the clock and water temporarily. NOTE: You can cancel during the main shower, bonus time, or the lock-out by pressing the key on the Programmer. This feature is handy if a family of four is
in a hurry. Only the administrator with access to the Programmer can cancel or adjust the settings.
Default showering directions:
1. Turn on the Water:
o Turn the water on as usual. If applicable, engage the diverter stem on the tub spout. No water will initially flow from the showerhead.
2. Wake the ShowerWizard®:
o The ShowerWizard® is motion-activated. Entering the shower stall will trigger the motion detector, signaled by a blue & green flash code. (blue &
yellow if the battery is low).
3. Start The Shower Cycle:
o Press the activation button within 40 seconds of triggering the motion detector. The light will turn blue, then fade from green to black as the water
starts to flow.
o The light will repeatedly fade from green to black throughout the 7 minutes of the main part of the shower cycle.
4. 1-Minute Warning:
o After 7 minutes, the light will change and fade yellow to black repeatedly; simultaneously, the water will pulse, signaling 1 additional minute of
bonus time.
o The pulse is a gentle reminder that you have one minute to rinse off and finish your shower.
NOTE: Pause Mode · Press the activation button anytime during the main shower or bonus minute to pause for up to 5 minutes. · If the cycle is paused beyond 5 minutes, the ShowerWizard® will return to sleep mode. · The pause feature stops the clock and the water; it gives you time to soap up, apply shampoo, shave, etc. · While pausing, the light will fade from blue to black repeatedly. · Pause will lengthen the time spent in the shower but not the amount of water being used.
5. Lockout Mode:
o After the full shower cycle (7 minutes plus 1-minute warning), the ShowerWizard® enters a 5-minute lockout mode. During the lockout, there is a
repeating red/red/ long black flash code. A new shower cycle can only begin after the lockout period ends.

Programming basics:
· Motion activates the ShowerWizard® from sleep mode. Once triggered, it "wakes" and flashes:
o Blue/green......for normal operation. o Blue/yellow.....indicates a low battery, signaling that recharging will be needed soon. o Blue/red.........indicates an exhausted battery, preventing operation until recharged. · Before programming can begin, the ShowerWizard® MUST be awake. · You have 40 seconds to start programming before the ShowerWizard® re-enters sleep mode. · Programming is done with the included Programing Remote/Keyboard. · The Programmer must be aimed directly at the ShowerWizard®, maintaining a clear line of sight.
· You will first enter number(s), followed by one of the function keys: #, , OK, , , , , (table 1)
· Always watch the status light for feedback when pressing any key:
o One green flash confirms the key press was valid/accepted.
o Four quick red flashes indicate an invalid entry, try again. · Only numbers between 0 and 99 are valid entries. If you enter more than two digits, only the last two digits will be retained. · When a command is accepted the light will flash a sequence of colors representing the number entered.
o To decode the flash sequence, refer to (Table 3) · If the new setting is invalid for one of several reasons, you will see 4 quick red flashes. Try again. · You have 20 seconds to enter additional numbers or press a function key, if not the ShowerWizard® will re-enter sleep mode.
o If sleep mode is entered at this point you will have to remain still for 10 seconds before a re-triggering can occur.
Adjusting basic settings:
Using the included Programming Remote/Keyboard, follow the step-by-step guides below to adjust the most used settings. You can use any duration between 1 and 99 minutes. Watch the status light to stay on point while you are programming.
Adjusting the Shower's Current Length:
1. Trigger the motion detector. (Status light will be Green/Blue flashing) 2. press the "5" key (for 5 minutes). 1 green flash confirms a good key press 3. Press the key (left arrow).....5 magenta flashes confirm you entered 5 4. The shower length is now 5 minutes.
Explanation:
In this example, we set a 5-minute shower length. Each key press will be acknowledged with a green confirmation flash. If the key press is not received correctly for any reason, you will see 4-quick red flashes. In that case, simply try again.
The "" key (left arrow) is a function key (defined in Table 1) used to set the current length/starting length of the shower. More details about the starting length will be covered later. After pressing the function key in this step, you receive a confirmation flash code corresponding to the value entered.
Watch the status light as you press the "" key. For this example, setting a 5-minute shower will result in a magenta/magenta/magenta/magenta/magenta flash code. Using Tabel 3, and the examples shown in it, you will understand each magenta flash is equal to one. so, 5 magenta flashes equals 5
In the next example, we will use a two-digit number. You will quickly become familiar with decoding the flashback codes as you practice.
NOTE: The warning/bonus minute is always included in the shower time and does not require your input.
Adjusting the Lockout Length:
1. Trigger the motion detector. 2. Press the "1" key.....1 green flash confirms a good key press 3. Press the "3" key.....1 green flash confirms a good key press 4. Press the "OK" key. 1 turquoise and 3 magenta flashes confirms you entered 13 5. you have set the lockout length to 13 minutes
Explanation:
In this example, we are setting a 13-minute Lockout Length. We pressed 1 then 3. Again, each time you press a key, you will see the green confirmation flash.
The "OK" key is a function key (defined in Table 1) lockout is the time that must pass before a new shower cycle can be started. After pressing the function key in this step, you will receive a confirmation flash code corresponding to the value you entered.
Watch the status light as you press the "OK" key. For this example, setting a 13-minute shower will result in a turquoise/magenta/magenta/magenta flash code. Using Tabel 3, and the examples shown, you will understand that turquoise is equal to 10 and the 3 magenta flashes equal 3... for a total of 10 + 3 = 13
Reset To Factory Defaults:
1. Trigger the motion detector. 2. Press the "6" key.......1 green flash confirms a good key press 3. press the "#" key.......6 magenta flashes confirm you entered 6. 4. The valve will open and close, then display a flash code indicating the software version number. 5. All user settings are cleared, and the ShowerWizard® is restored to its factory default settings.
Explanation: In this example, we are resetting the ShowerWizard® to the factory defaults. We pressed 6, which was followed by the green confirmation flash. Next, the "#" key defined in Table 1, is the key used for executing this and all the other commands in Table 2. After pressing #, a confirmation flash code will indicate the number entered. Watch the status light as you press the "#" key. In this example you pressed 6, resulting in a Magenta/Magenta/Magenta/Magenta/Magenta/Magenta/ flash code. Using
Tabel 3, and the examples shown, you will understand that 6 magenta flashes equals 6.

Shower Coach Mode:
This mode supports a gradual transition to shorter showers over days or weeks, it eases the adjustment naturally, so the change is barely noticeable. It requires you to configure four adjustable settings: the starting shower length, the reduction interval (in minutes), the number of showers between each reduction, and the ending shower length. Once the final reduction has been reached...the ending shower length you set will become the new normal shower length.
For example, if you set a starting shower length of 20 minutes, and reduce the shower time by 2 minutes every 4th shower, with an ending length of 6 minutes, the process would work as follows: after the first 4 showers, the length would decrease to 18 minutes. After another 4 showers, it would reduce again to 16 minutes, and so on. This pattern continues until the final reduction is reached, at which point the shower time will be permanently set to 6 minutes. (See Table 1 for keyboard symbol details)
Programming Shower Coach Mode:
Working from the example described above. 1. Trigger the motion detector. 2. Press 2, 1 green flash confirms a good key press 3. Press 0, 1 green flash confirms a good key press 4. Press 2 turquoise flashes confirms you entered 20, this is the 20-minute starting length 5. Press 2 1 green flash confirms a good key press 6. Press 2 magenta flashes confirms you entered 2, this is the 2 minutes that the shower length will be reduced by 7. Press 4 1green flash confirms a good key press 8. Press 4 magenta flashes confirms you entered 4, this is the number of showers between each 2-minute reduction 9. Press 6 1 green flash confirms a good key press 10.Press 6 magenta flashes confirms you entered 6, this is the final shower length
