UPNE- Series: Seven Models

Introducing the Ruud® Achiever Series® UPNE- Heat Pump Outdoor units, designed for year-round heating and cooling comfort in residential, multi-family, and light commercial applications. These units offer efficiencies up to 14 SEER in certain matched systems, with nominal sizes ranging from 1 1/2 to 5 Tons (5.28 kW to 17.58 kW).

The UPNE- series is engineered for performance and energy conservation, compatible with Ruud indoor units certified under the ARI Certification program. They can achieve a maximum HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor) of 9.10 and a maximum SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) of 14.00.

Ruud Heat Pump System

For optimal all-season home comfort, performance, and energy conservation, pair a Ruud UPNE- Series Heat Pump with a Ruud UHSA, UHLA, or UHKA Series Air Handler. This combination creates a specially designed Winter/Summer comfort system using a single indoor coil for both heating and cooling.

Copeland® Scroll® Compressor

The Copeland scroll compressor is central to the efficiency of this Ruud model, utilizing the latest high-efficiency compressor technology. It offers low noise and vibration, tolerance to liquid refrigerant and system contamination, and low start torque, ensuring efficient, quiet, and reliable performance.

General Terms of Limited Warranty: Ruud provides a limited warranty for replacement parts that fail under normal use. Specific warranty periods are listed for Condenser Coil leaks (Five Years), Compressor (Ten Years for A-Series, Seven Years for B-Series), and Any Other Part (Five Years). The five-year warranty on parts applies to single-phase products installed on or after January 1, 2001.
