Ferrari Premium Program

Technical Information

Date: April 2019

Bulletin #: 2573

Introduction

This document outlines the Ferrari Premium program, available from April 2019, for eligible Ferrari vehicles.

Key Definitions:

  • Preventive service: Installation of parts included in specific 'Baskets'.
  • Scheduled maintenance: Services indicated in the Manufacturer's Warranty Booklet.

What is Ferrari Premium?

The Ferrari Premium program provides owners with a certificate confirming that all required scheduled maintenance, preventive service procedures, and applicable product campaigns have been correctly carried out for their vehicle.

The certificate is issued at no cost when the following criteria are met:

  1. All required preventive service procedures have been performed.
  2. All required scheduled maintenance procedures have been performed.
  3. All applicable recall and service campaigns have been implemented.

Ferrari Premium certification helps vehicles remain eligible for official services for up to 20 years, including Classiche certification.

Applicability of the Ferrari Premium Program

The program is applicable to a wide range of Ferrari models. Extensive lists of eligible models, categorized by production year, are provided in detailed tables within this document.

Examples of eligible models include:

  • 360 Modena (all versions)
  • F430 (all versions)
  • 456 GT / GTA
  • 456 M GT / GTA
  • 550 Maranello

  • 599 GTO
  • Enzo
  • ...and many historical models from 1947 onwards.

(See detailed list “Premium-Classiche” attached)

Conditions for Eligibility

The Certificate is issued only if all three conditions are met:

  1. Preventive Service Plan Completed: Requires installation of specific spare parts ('Basket') for functional systems including:
    • Fuel and induction system
    • Lubrication system
    • Hydraulic power steering system
    • Braking system
These procedures may be spread over multiple sessions.
  2. Scheduled Maintenance Plan Completed: Service procedures must be carried out at least once every 12 months.
  3. Product Campaigns Implemented: All applicable recall and service campaigns must be completed.

Issue of Certificate

Customers can track the progress of their certificate request via the MyFerrari portal, which displays the status of the three eligibility indicators.

The certificate is issued upon confirmation that all conditions are met. Customers can request their Ferrari Premium Certificate from their preferred dealer.

Figure 1 shows the Ferrari Premium Program Status interface, indicating progress for 'Manutenzione ordinaria' (Scheduled Maintenance), 'Manutenzione preventiva' (Preventive Maintenance), and 'Campagne di richiamo' (Recall Campaigns).

Certificate Validity

The Certificate is valid as of its issue date, confirming maintenance procedures performed prior to that date.

Vehicles are ineligible if any of the three primary conditions are not met.

Conditions for Exclusion

Vehicles with severe accident damage are subject to Ferrari verification to ensure repairs meet Ferrari standards.

The following vehicles are generally excluded:

  • Vehicles used for racing or track use, unless compliant with specified rules.
  • Vehicles used for professional or commercial services (e.g., rentals).
  • Vehicles deemed unfit for eligibility after technical assessment, including those with significant modifications or involvement in accidents.

Certificate Details

The certificate includes fields for Model, Chassis Number, Year of Production, Date of Issue, Vehicle Mileage, Authorized Service Center, and Certificate Number.

It certifies that maintenance procedures required by the Ferrari Premium Program have been correctly carried out.

The certificate does not exempt the customer from:

  • Mandatory state vehicle inspections.
  • Observing instructions in the Owner's Manual and Warranty Booklet.

Important Notes:

  • The document is valid solely on the date of issue.
  • It certifies program completion, not an extension of the manufacturer's warranty. New spare parts are covered by Ferrari's limited warranty for 12 months from installation.
  • Correct completion of procedures facilitates attainment of FERRARI CLASSICHE certification of authenticity.
