Nordlux Oja IP54 Installation Guide
This guide provides instructions for the installation and maintenance of the Nordlux Oja IP54 LED light.
Installation Steps
- Ensure the power switch is OFF.
- Mount the base to the ceiling.
- Connect the wires: L (brown) to L, N (blue) to N, and earth (green/yellow) to the earth symbol.
- Secure the luminaire to the mounting bracket.
- Select the desired color temperature (3000K or 4000K) by adjusting the switch.
- Connect the wires and secure the luminaire. Ensure wire lengths are appropriate (20mm for mains, 8mm for 1.0-1.5mm²).
- Connect the wires to the terminal block.
- Attach the luminaire to the mounting bracket and secure it.
- Install the diffuser.
Removal of Light Source
- Lift the frame from the housing by levering the housing slightly outwards with a screwdriver.
- Remove the frame from the housing.
The light source in this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches the end of its life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.

IP Ratings Explained
IP5X: Dust is prevented from entering the lamp in amounts that can cause damage to the function/safety of the lamp.
IPX4: Raindrops falling from any angle will not affect the function/safety of the lamp.
Electrical Safety
Class II: The lamp is double-insulated and does not need to be connected to the earth wire.
The lamp is only suitable for connecting directly to the mains.
Important Safety Instructions
- Always shut off power to the circuit before starting installation work.
- In some countries, electrical installation work may only be carried out by an authorized electrical contractor. Contact your local electricity authority for advice.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
- Do not discard the mounting instruction. Keep it for future reference.
- For indoor use only.
General Maintenance
Use a soft, dry cloth for dusting, and a soft, damp cloth to gently remove grease or similar stains. Never use any detergents or chemical reagents. Do not switch on the lamp before all the water has evaporated.
Mouth-blown Glass Care
Mouth-blown glass is formed manually. Due to this unique process, air bubbles may occur in the glass, and the thickness of the glass may vary. This is a natural consequence of the manual process and gives the glass its character and organic look. Always clean mouth-blown glass when it is cold.
