Introduction
The Vimar 01415 2F+ Gateway is an IoT device designed for integrating the Due Fili Plus video door entry system with IP/LAN networks, cloud services, and applications for smartphones, tablets, or touch supervisors. It is designed for installation on a DIN rail (60715 TH35) and occupies 6 modules of 17.5 mm.
This gateway connects the Due Fili Plus bus to an Ethernet LAN network, allowing the video door entry system to be used with Vimar home automation systems. IP connectivity enables local and remote operations via dedicated Android/iOS applications.

Auxiliary Power Supply Mode
The device's power supply mode is selected via a dedicated dip switch:
- [ON] (Switch 1): Power supply from auxiliary (AUX). If no voltage is present on AUX, the device is powered from the Due Fili bus.
- [OFF] (Switch 1): Exclusive power supply from AUX. The device is never powered from the Due Fili bus.
Note: To power the device solely via the Due Fili bus, place the dip switch to [ON].
Video Termination
To terminate the video signal, set the dip switches as follows:
- A [ON] OPEN: When the BUS cable enters terminals 1, 2 and continues to another internal unit.
- B [ON] 100: When a BUS cable with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ohms (Elvox 732I or 732H cable) enters terminals 1, 2 and the riser stops in the internal unit.
- C [ON] 50: When a BUS cable with characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms (Cat. 5 or Cat. 6 twisted pair cable) enters terminals 1, 2 and the riser stops in the internal unit.
Key Functions
The gateway features several function buttons with associated LEDs:
- [F1] Cloud-Gateway Connection Emergency Procedure:
- Press and hold [F1] (10 s) to reset network configuration in DHCP and re-establish Cloud connection.
- LED 1: [ON] when gateway is working properly; [OFF] when not working or Cloud is enabled but unreachable. Flashes during reset via Installer App.
- [F2] New IP Address Request & Gateway Reset:
- Briefly press [F2] to restart DHCP client and request a new IP address. No action if static IP is configured.
- LED 2: Permanently [ON] when an IP address is assigned; [OFF] if no address is assigned. Flashes when DHCP server is not present or reachable.
- Press and hold [F2] (10 s) for factory reset (all LEDs turn off).
- [F3] Firmware Updating & Gateway Restart:
- Manual Firmware Update: Press and hold [F3] (10 s) until LED 3 flashes. Connect PC via USB, copy update files to the 'UPDATE' drive, safely remove the drive, then press and hold [F3] (10 s) again. LED 3 remains [ON] during update. IMPORTANT: Do not remove power during update.
- Gateway Restart: Press and hold [F3] (10 s) until LED 3 flashes, then press and hold [F3] (10 s) again. LED 3 stays [ON] briefly before restart.
- LED 3: Indicates firmware update status.
- [F4] Configuration in Due Fili System:
- The gateway must be configured as primary in the Due Fili Plus bus.
- Press and hold [F4] (10 s) until LED 4 flashes.
- Assign ID: For Master panels, press the button to associate. For Alphanumeric panels, enter the desired ID and press confirm.
- LED 4: Remains [ON] to signal normal operation after ID assignment.
- [CONF] User Association Enabling:
- Briefly press [CONF]. LED 5 turns [ON] and stays lit.
- LED 5 turns [OFF] upon successful enabling or after 3 minutes if unsuccessful.
- N.B.: To enable gateway association with the Installer, the device must not be already configured. Repeated presses of [CONF] do not restart the procedure.
Installation Rules
- Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in compliance with local electrical installation regulations.
- The RJ45 network interface (10/100/1000 Mbps) must only be connected to a SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) network.
WARNING: Update the firmware to the latest version! Download from www.vimar.com > Download > Software > View Pro. Version 1.13.1 can only be installed if version 1.12.1 was installed first. The View Pro App manual is available on www.vimar.com using the gateway article code.
Regulatory Compliance
- EMC Directive: Standards EN 60065, EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3.
- REACH Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006: Article 33. The product may contain traces of lead.
- WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment): The crossed-out bin symbol indicates that the product must not be disposed of with general waste. Users must take it to appropriate separate collection centers or return it to the retailer. Free return is possible for products under 25 cm at retailers with sales areas of at least 400 m².
