How to Set the Date and Time for the DVT1600 VoiceTracer Pen

This document describes how to set the date and time for the Philips DVT1600 VoiceTracer Pen. To use the tool, you need to connect the pen to a Windows PC or Mac.

Windows Instructions

Download and extract the DVT1600 Time Tool on your Windows PC.

Locate the tool recordPentime.exe in the win folder and copy it to the root folder of your VoiceTracer Pen. Double-click recordPentime.exe to start the tool.

The current date and time will be displayed in the tool.

Press the “SyncTime” button.

A text file named Time.txt has been created on your device.

Unplug your DVT1600. The date and time are now configured on your device.

macOS Instructions

Locate the application RecordPentime in the ios folder.

Copy RecordPentime to the root folder of your VoiceTracer Pen. Double-click RecordPentime to start the tool.

Click on “Sync Time”.

The text “Write success” should appear.

Unplug your DVT1600. The date and time are now configured on your device.
