Safety Instructions
Read and observe these safety instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep them nearby for future reference. The manufacturer is not liable for failure to observe these instructions, improper use, or incorrect control settings.
General Safety:
- Keep children away from the appliance. Very young children (0-3 years) should be kept away. Young children (3-8 years) should be supervised. Children 8 years and older, and persons with reduced capabilities, can use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
- When using the combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to high temperatures.
- The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Avoid touching heating elements. Children under 8 years must be kept away unless supervised.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during food drying. Use only a recommended temperature probe.
- Keep flammable materials away from the appliance until it has cooled down. Be vigilant when cooking foods rich in fat or oil, or when adding alcoholic beverages. Use oven gloves to remove pans. Open the door cautiously to allow hot air or steam to escape. Do not obstruct hot air vents.
- Be careful when the oven door is open or down to avoid hitting it.
- Food must not be left in or on the product for more than one hour before or after cooking.
- If the door or door seals are damaged, do not operate the oven until repaired.
- Do not heat liquids and foods in sealed containers; this can cause explosion. Heating beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling; handle containers with care.
- Always shake, stir, and check the temperature of baby food or liquids before serving to ensure even heat distribution and prevent scalding.
- Do not heat eggs in their shells or whole hard-boiled eggs; this can cause explosion.
- Only use utensils suitable for microwave cooking. Do not use metallic containers.
- If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed to stifle flames.
- If the appliance is installed 850 mm or more above the floor, be careful not to displace the turntable when removing containers.
- Do not use the microwave oven for deep-frying as oil temperature cannot be controlled.
- Metallic containers for food and beverages are not suitable for microwave cooking.
- Do not remove microwave inlet protection plates (if present) as they prevent grease and food particles from entering the microwave inlet channels.
Permitted Use:
- The appliance is intended for household and similar applications (e.g., staff kitchens, offices, farm houses, hotels, motels, B&Bs).
- No other use is permitted (e.g., heating rooms).
- Not for professional use or outdoor use.
- Do not store explosive or flammable substances near the appliance.
Installation
- Installation must be handled by two or more persons. Use protective gloves.
- Installation, water supply, electrical connections, and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.
- Keep children away from the installation site.
- Check for transport damage after unpacking. Contact the dealer or After-Sales Service if problems occur.
- Store packaging waste out of reach of children.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before installation.
- Ensure the power cable is not damaged during installation.
- Only activate the appliance after installation is complete.
- Carry out cabinet cutting works before fitting the appliance and remove wood chips and sawdust.
- Remove the appliance from its polystyrene base only at the time of installation.
- After installation, the bottom of the appliance must no longer be accessible.
- Do not install the appliance behind a decorative door.
- If installed under a worktop, do not obstruct the minimum gap between the worktop and the oven's upper edge.
- This appliance is intended for built-in installation. Do not use it freestanding or place it into a cabinet.
- Ensure the appliance door closes properly after unpacking. Contact the dealer or After-Sales Service if problems occur.
Electrical Warnings
- The rating plate is on the front edge of the oven (visible when the door is open).
- The appliance must be disconnectable from the power supply by unplugging or a multi-pole switch, in accordance with wiring rules and national electrical safety standards. It must be earthed.
- Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets, or adapters. Electrical components must not be accessible to the user after installation.
- Do not operate the appliance when wet or barefoot.
- Do not operate if the power cable or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- If the power cable needs replacement, contact an authorized service center.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to carry out service or repair operations that involve removing protective covers.
- Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition can lead to surface deterioration, adversely affecting the appliance's life and potentially causing a hazardous situation.
- The oven must be cleaned regularly, and food deposits removed.
- Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Use protective gloves and safety shoes; handle by two persons. Never use steam cleaning equipment.
- Non-professional repairs not authorized by the manufacturer can pose a risk to health and safety. Any defect or damage from such repairs will not be covered by the guarantee.
- Regularly clean the interior of the appliance door and gasket. Use a soft sponge, mild water, and neutral soap; dry with a neutral soft cloth. Do not use metal scrapers.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers on the door glass, as they can scratch the surface and may cause shattering.
- Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning or performing maintenance to avoid burns.
