IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your Food Dehydrator, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles or knobs.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any parts of the oven in water or any other liquids.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not operate an appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazard or injury.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
- When operating the oven, keep at least four inches of free space on all sides of the oven to allow for adequate air circulation.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
- To disconnect, turn the time control to OFF, then remove the plug. Always hold the plug, and never pull the cord.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving a drip pan containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Do not cover any part of the oven with metal foil. This may cause the oven to overheat.
- Use extreme caution when removing the tray, racks or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquids.
- Do not clean the inside of the oven with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
- Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toaster oven as they may create a fire or an electric shock.
- A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material, including the curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
- Extreme cautions should be exercised when using cooking or baking containers constructed of anything other than metal or ovenproof glass.
- Be sure that nothing touches the top or bottom elements of the oven.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or anything similar.
- Do not store any materials other than the manufacturer's recommended accessories in this oven when not in use.
- Always wear protective, insulated oven gloves when inserting or removing items from the hot oven.
- This appliance has a tempered, safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can still break around the edges. Avoid scratching the door surface or nicking the edges.
- This appliance is OFF when the Timer Control button is in the “OFF” position.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.
- Do not immerse the oven into water.
It's your first time using this dehydrator?
- Read all of the instructions included in this manual.
- Wash all accessories in hot soapy water.
- The oven cabinet is coated with a layer of shipment protective oil. Please clean the cabinet with a wet cloth. Then plug in the oven and run it at 80°C for at least 1 hour. You don't need to put anything inside the oven during this process. Some smell or even smoke may come out at the first run of the oven. This is not harmful and is a normal situation.
- After all the above processes, the food dehydrator is ready to be used!
CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
The control panel features the following:
- 1. Screen: Displays time and temperature settings.
- 2. Temperature Down: Press to decrease temperature.
- 3. Temperature Up: Press to increase temperature.
- 4. Timer Down: Press to decrease time.
- 5. Timer Up: Press to increase time.
- 6. POWER / CONFIRM: Press to start or stop the dehydration process, and to confirm settings.
Pre-set options are available for 80°C (10h), 70°C (7h), and 60°C (4h).
Operation of this food dehydrator
- Slice food (for example, fruit) into 5 to 8 mm thickness and place the slices on wire racks.
- Put wire racks into the cabinet.
- Plug in the dehydrator. You will hear a BEEP and the screen will show '88:88' for 1 second.
- Select temperature by pressing the 'Temperature Up' or 'Temperature Down' buttons on the control panel. Temperature changes degree by degree from 35°C to 80°C. To fast change temperature, keep your finger on the button.
- Adjust time by pressing the 'Timer Up' or 'Timer Down' buttons on the control panel. Timer changes every 30 minutes from 30 minutes to 24 hours. To fast change timer, keep your finger on the button.
- After adjusting temperature and timer, press the POWER button to start the dehydration process.
- As soon as the dehydration process finishes, you will hear 4 BEEPS. The machine will switch off automatically.
- During the dehydration process, the timer and temperature will show on the screen every 3 seconds.
- When the machine is running, you cannot change the time and temperature. If a change is necessary, press POWER to stop the process, then re-start again.
- Please avoid opening the glass door too often during the dehydrating process.
Care & Cleaning
Warning: Be sure to unplug the oven and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Any spattering that occurs while cooking and comes into contact with the continuous coating is oxidized while the oven is in operation. If desired, wipe the walls with a damp sponge, cloth, or nylon scouring pad and mild detergent. DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL SCOURING PADS, ABRASIVE CLEANERS, OR SCRAPE THE WALLS WITH A METAL UTENSIL, AS ALL OF THESE METHODS MAY DAMAGE THE CONTINUOUS CLEAN COATING.
All accessories should be washed in hot soapy water or can be cleaned in a dishwasher. The door can be wiped with a damp sponge and wiped dry with a paper or cloth towel. Clean the outside with a damp sponge. DO NOT USE AN ABRASIVE CLEANER AS IT MAY DAMAGE THE EXTERIOR FINISH.
DO NOT USE AN ABRASIVE CLEANER OR STEEL WOOL SCOURING PAD ON THE DRIP PAN AS IT MAY DAMAGE THE PORCELAIN ENAMEL FINISH.
LET ALL PARTS AND SURFACES DRY THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO PLUGGING THE OVEN IN AND USING.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if only for a short while.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not immerse this product in liquid.
