Operating Principle

2. Verify that the hub is disarmed and not undergoing updates by checking its status in the mobile application.
3. Open the Ajax application and select the 'Add Device' option.
4. Name the device, scan the QR Code (located on the device and packaging), and select the room where it will be installed.
5. Select 'Add' to initiate the connection process.

For successful detection and interfacing, the siren must be located within the hub's wireless network coverage area. If the connection fails, the siren will switch off after 6 seconds, and the connection attempt can be repeated without turning off the device.

Device States and Settings

Various states of the siren, such as temperature, signal strength, battery charge, and connection status, can be monitored through the Ajax app. Users can customize settings like alarm volume, LED indication, beep patterns, and response to detector alarms via the app. Detailed instructions for configuring these settings are provided within the manual.
