Appearance
The Smart Power Strip has 6 individual smart outlets with control buttons and LEDs to indicate status. The SYS, Grounded, and Protected LEDs change color based on their status.
Device Overview
The device features 6 smart outlets labeled Plug 1 through Plug 6, three USB ports (5V/2.4A each, 5V/4A total), a SYS Wi-Fi LED, a Grounded LED, a Protected LED, individual outlet LEDs, control buttons for each outlet, and a main power switch on the back panel.

Set Up Your Smart Power Strip
Follow these steps to set up your Smart Power Strip using the Kasa Smart app:
Step 1: Download and Install Kasa App
Go to Google Play or the Apple App Store. Alternatively, scan the QR code provided to download the Kasa app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.
Step 2: Log In or Sign Up with TP-Link ID
Open the Kasa app. Log in using your TP-Link ID. If you do not have a TP-Link ID, tap "Create Account" and the app will guide you through the process.
Step 3: Add Device
In the Kasa app, tap the '+' button, select "Smart Power Strip", and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Main Device Controls
After setup, the Kasa app's home page displays the status of all added devices. You can manage and control the 6 smart outlets of the HS300 from this page.
Home Page
The Home Page provides an overview of your connected Kasa devices, including the smart plugs (Fan, Night Light, Plug 3-6).
Device Status
Tapping on a specific smart outlet (e.g., "Night Light" for Plug 2) opens the Device Status screen, allowing you to control and manage that individual outlet.
Configure Your Smart Power Strip
From the Device Status page, you can configure various settings for your smart outlets, including schedules, Away Mode, timers, usage monitoring, and general device settings.
Set Schedule
Tap the [Schedule Icon] to set a schedule for your smart outlet, enabling automatic On/Off actions to simplify your daily routine.
Preset Away Mode
Tap the [Away Mode Icon] to preset the Away Mode. Your smart outlet will randomly turn on/off during the specified time to simulate occupancy.
Set Timer
Tap the [Timer Icon] to set a timer. Your smart outlet will automatically turn on/off after the specified time ends.
Check Usage
Tap the [Usage Icon] to view and track the energy consumption of your connected devices.
Device Settings
Tap the [Settings Icon] to view and change the settings of your smart outlet, including its name and icon.
Create Scenes
A scene is a preset group of smart devices that can be programmed, customized, and activated simultaneously with a single touch from your smartphone or tablet. Scenes allow you to easily set your mood, activity, or prepare for special occasions, enabling your smart home devices to act automatically.
Discover Kasa
Integrate your Kasa Smart Power Strip with Amazon Alexa, Google Home Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana for a hands-free experience. Kasa also works with Nest for home automation triggers and IFTTT for creating custom interactions between various products.
To set up these integrations, launch the Kasa app and navigate to Add Device > WORKS WITH KASA > Nest Home and Away / Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant / IFTTT for detailed instructions.
