Getting Started
This guide provides the necessary steps to set up your Philips Television from the 8009 Series.
Stand Assembly
Follow these instructions to attach the stand to your TV. Ensure you use the correct screws for your specific TV size.
For 43", 50", and 55" models:
Use four (4) [screw-Q4xL18] screws to attach the stand components (labeled L and R) to the TV base. The diagrams show inserting screws with a [screwdriver-icon] into the designated holes.
For 65" models:
Use four (4) [screw-M4xL20] screws to attach the stand components (labeled L and R) to the TV base. The diagrams show inserting screws with a [screwdriver-icon] into the designated holes.

Wall Mounting
Your TV can also be mounted on a wall. Ensure you use appropriate wall mounting hardware (not included) and follow safety guidelines.

Connections
Connect your TV to power, your network, and external devices for a complete entertainment experience.
Remote Control Setup
To operate your TV, insert two (2) [battery-AAA] batteries into the remote control. Ensure correct polarity (+/-).

Connecting Cables
Connect the following cables to the appropriate ports on your TV:
- Power: Connect the power cable to the POWER port.

- TV Antenna/Satellite: Connect your TV antenna or satellite receiver to the TV ANTENNA or SAT (EU) port using a coaxial cable.
- HDMI Devices: Connect devices like Blu-ray players, game consoles, or set-top boxes to the HDMI 2/3 or HDMI 1 (eARC) ports using an Ultra High-speed HDMI cable.
- Common Interface: Insert a CAM module into the COMMON INTERFACE slot if you subscribe to pay TV services.
