Setting the Installed Position

Follow these steps to set the initial position for the iGyro 3xtra:

  1. Step 1: Initialisation

    Press and hold the white button on the iGyro 3xtra. While holding the button, switch the model on. Release the button as soon as the red LEDs cycle.

  2. Step 2: Elevator Neutralisation

    Lift the model quickly and hold it until the elevator returns to its neutral position.

  3. Step 3: Rudder Neutralisation

    Quickly move the model's tail to the right and hold it until the rudder returns to its neutral position.

Learning the Centre and End-Points

This section describes how to teach the iGyro 3xtra the center and end-point positions for each control axis using your transmitter.

  1. Step 1: General Setup

    Ensure the iGyro 3xtra is connected and powered on. The device will show initial LED states.

  2. Step 2: Learning Aileron Stick Right

    Move the transmitter's aileron stick fully to the right . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

  3. Step 3: Learning Aileron Stick Left

    Move the transmitter's aileron stick fully to the left . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

  4. Step 4: Learning Elevator Stick Down

    Move the transmitter's elevator stick fully down . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

  5. Step 5: Learning Elevator Stick Up

    Move the transmitter's elevator stick fully up . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

  6. Step 6: Learning Rudder Stick Right

    Move the transmitter's rudder stick fully to the right . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

  7. Step 7: Learning Rudder Stick Left

    Move the transmitter's rudder stick fully to the left . Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra once [press once].

Note: Green LEDs indicate successful learning for the current input. Red LEDs may indicate an issue or the opposite direction is being learned.

Gain Adjustment for Individual Axes

This section details how to adjust the gain for each control axis independently.

  1. Step 1: Select Axis

    Press the white button on the iGyro 3xtra to cycle through the axes (Rudder, ELEV-B, ELEV-A, AILE-B, AILE-A). The selected axis will be indicated by its LED.

  2. Step 2: Adjust Gain

    Use your transmitter's control stick for the selected axis to adjust the gain. The iGyro 3xtra will indicate the gain level with LEDs and the corresponding percentage change:

    • ? +10%

    • ? -5%
    • ? -10%
