How to Use the Mount

Properly securing the microphone minimizes noise and cable strain:

Insert the microphone capsule into the wire loop of the clip.
Loop the cord back up through the inside of the clip, leaving it loose.
Loop the cord back down and secure it in the cable management clip.

Mounting the Microphone on Clothing

For optimal sound and to reduce breath noise:

Attach the smartLav+ upside down to clothing, about 15-20cm (6 inches) from your face.
Always use the windshield to prevent plosives and wind noise, even indoors.
Pro Tip: Create a loose loop in the mic cord on the inside of your clothing and secure it with tape for added strain relief and noise isolation.
