Shelly Plus i4 User & Safety Guide
Brand: Shelly
Product Type: Smart Wi-Fi Switch Input
Introduction
The Shelly Plus i4 is an innovative microprocessor-managed device designed for remote control of electric appliances. It allows users to control devices via a mobile phone, tablet, PC, or home automation system. The Shelly Plus i4 can operate independently in a local Wi-Fi network or integrate with cloud home automation services. It offers remote access, control, and monitoring from any location with internet connectivity, provided the device is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the internet.
Shelly devices feature integrated web servers for direct user adjustment, control, and monitoring. Cloud functionality can be enabled via the device's web server or the Shelly Cloud mobile application. Users can register and access Shelly Cloud through Android or iOS mobile applications or any internet browser at https://my.shelly.cloud/.
Shelly devices support two Wi-Fi modes: Access Point (AP) and Client Mode (CM). For Client Mode, a Wi-Fi router must be within range. Devices can communicate directly with other Wi-Fi devices using the HTTP protocol. An API is provided by Allterco Robotics EOOD.
