This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for operating the SKMEI Model 1362 digital watch. It details the watch's features, operational modes, and technical specifications.
Key Button Functions:
- : Functions as Start/Stop (ST/STP).

- : Activates the EL backlight for approximately 1.5 seconds.

The watch features a 13-digit LCD display that shows the Hour, Minute, Second, Month, Day, and Week.
Current Mode Displays:
- Normal Time Mode: Shows day (e.g., THU), date (e.g., 10-25), time (e.g., 12:58), and seconds/day indicator (e.g., 36).
- Alarm Mode: Displays "AL" and the set alarm time (e.g., 12:00).
- Chronograph Mode: Shows "ST" (Start) or "SPL" (Split) and the elapsed time (e.g., 0:00:00).
- Dual Time Mode: Displays "TA" and the set dual time (e.g., 7:58).
- Timer Mode: Shows the countdown timer (e.g., 0:00:00).

B. Operational Manual
Press the
to switch between the following operation modes: Normal Time Mode, Alarm Mode, Chronograph Mode, Dual Time Mode, and Timer Mode. Pressing the illuminates the EL backlight for approximately 1.5 seconds in any mode.In Normal Time Mode, press the
to toggle between the 12-hour (12H) and 24-hour (24H) time formats.1. Normal Time Mode Setting
To set the current time:
- Press and hold the for 2 seconds to enter the time setting state. The "Second" display will flash.
- Press the to reset the seconds to zero.
- Press the to select the item you wish to adjust. The selection sequence is: Second → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day.
- Press the to adjust the flashing item.
- Press the to confirm the settings and return to the normal time mode.
Second Adjustment Details:
- If the seconds are between 30 and 59 when the is pressed, the seconds reset to 00, and the minutes are incremented by 1.
- If the seconds are between 00 and 29 when the is pressed, the seconds reset to 00, and the minutes remain unchanged.
12/24 Hour Format Selection: In Normal Time Mode, use the
to switch between the 12-hour (12H) and 24-hour (24H) time formats.2. Alarm Mode
Alarm and Snooze On/Off:
- In Alarm Mode, press the to turn the daily alarm and snooze alarm on or off. The display will show (ALM) for the alarm or (SNZ) for snooze.
- When the alarm is ringing, (ALM) will flash. The alarm will stop automatically after 10 seconds. Press any key to stop the ringing.
Setting Daily Alarms:
- In Alarm Mode, press and hold the for 2 seconds to enter the alarm time setting mode.
- Press the to adjust the flashing character (this is a "plus" operation).
- Press the to select the next item to set (e.g., Hour, Minute, Date).
- Press the to confirm the setting.
- If a specific date is set, the alarm will activate on that date. If no date is set, it functions as a daily alarm.
Hourly Chime On/Off:
- In Alarm Mode, press the . The "Hour" display will disappear, indicating the chime setting.
- Press the to turn the hourly chime on or off. The presence of a chime indicator (e.g., SIG) may be shown.
Snooze Mode Operation: When snooze mode is active, the alarm will ring every 5 minutes. If no operation is performed, the alarm will ring for 10 seconds.
3. Chronograph Mode
- Start/Stop: Press the to start or stop the chronograph timing.
- Zero Reset: When the chronograph is stopped, press the to reset the elapsed time to zero.
- Midway Time (Split Function):
- Press the to start the chronograph.
- Press the to measure a midway time. The display will change from "ST" to "SPL".
- Press the again to release the midway time measurement and resume timing.
- While in the "SPL" state, press the to stop the chronograph.
- In the stopped state, press the to reset the chronograph to zero.
- Two Player Time Measurement:
- Press the to start the first player's time measurement.
- Press the to display the first player's elapsed time.
- Press the again to stop the second player's test.
- Press the to view the second player's elapsed time.
- Press the again to reset the chronograph to zero.
4. Dual Time Mode
Dual Time Setting:
- In Dual Time Mode, press and hold the for 2 seconds to enter the setting mode.
- The "Hour" display will flash. Use the to select between "Hour" and "Minute" settings.
- Use the to adjust the flashing item.
- Press the again to finish setting and return to the dual time display mode.
Note: Seconds cannot be set in Dual Time Mode; this function synchronizes with the Normal Time Mode.
5. Timer Mode
Timer Time Setting:
- Press and hold the for 2 seconds to enter the time setting mode. The "Hour" display will flash.
- Use the to select either the "Hour" or "Minute" setting.
- Use the to adjust the flashing item.
- Press the to complete the setting.
Timer Operation:
- Press the to start or stop the countdown timer.
- When the timer is stopped, press the to set the starting value for the countdown.
Note: When the watch is in any setting mode, the character currently being adjusted will flash.
