ATOMRC TX2500 VTX User Manual
The ATOMRC TX2500 is a powerful Video Transmitter (VTX) with 2.5W output. Its CNC case and fan help prevent overheating, while the LED segment display makes it easy to set and check the BAND/CH/POWER. It supports both X Band (5GHz) and Low Band frequencies.
Features
- Supports X Band (5GHz) and Low Band frequencies.
- CNC case and fan for efficient heat dissipation.
- Adjustable power output: 800mW, 1600mW, 2500mW.
- Wide voltage input range: 7V – 26V.
- LED Segment Display for easy status checks of BAND, CH, and Power.
- Button/IRC control for quick changes to CH and Power.
Notice
Users can choose either Button mode or IRC mode. If using Button mode, the IRC protocol must be disabled in Betaflight. In Button mode, the LED segment displays BAND/CH and power sequentially. In IRC mode, it displays frequency and power.

Wiring Diagram
The VTX module has the following connections:
- IRC: For IRC Tramp control.
- VTX: Video signal output.
- GND: Ground connection.
- 5V OUT: 5V power output (typically for camera).
- GND: Another ground connection.
- 7-26V VCC: Power input (7V to 26V).
The module also features a MODE button and a SET button, along with a status indicator labeled MODE.
How to Manually Set the VTX
Follow these steps to manually configure the VTX settings:
- Disable the IRC protocol on the Betaflight UART tab.
- Press the MODE button to enter BAND setting mode.
- Under BAND setting mode, short press the SET button to change the BAND. Press the MODE button again to enter CH (Channel) setting mode.
- Under CH setting mode, short press the SET button to change the CH. Press the MODE button to enter Power setting mode.
