aut horized and qualif ied personnel. Do not t ry t o open or repair t he device yourself . Do not place t he device in a damp or humid place, e. g. a bat hroom. Do not st ack t he devices. The device should be used in a shelt ered area, wit hin a t emperat ure range of 0 t o +40 Celsius. Do not expose t he device t o direct sunlight or ot her heat sources. The housing and elect ronic component s may be damaged by direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not deploy t he cable f or LAN connect ion out door t o prevent elect ronic shock hazards. Do not power of f t he device when saving conf igurat ions or f irmware upgrades. It may damage t he dat a in a f lash. Please disconnect t he Int ernet connect ion on t he device bef ore powering it of f when a TR-069/ ACS server manages t he device. Keep t he package out of reach of children. When you want t o dispose of t he device, please f ollow local regulat ions on conservat ion of t he environment .

VigorAP can be inst all ed under cert ain locat ions: wooden ceiling, plast erboard ceilings, and wall.

4. Connection and Configuration
4.1 Notifications for Hardw are Connection
Connect VigorAP t o Vigor rout er (via LAN port ) wit h Et hernet cable.
Connect VigorAP t o t he PoE swit ch (via LAN port ) wit h an Et hernet cable f or get t ing t he power f rom t he swit ch direct ly. While connect ing wit h a PoE swit ch, t he power adapt er is not necessary but opt ional.

4.2 Web Configurations
There are two methods t o conf igure VigorAP.
Method 1:
1. Make sure your PC connect s t o t he modem correct ly.
2. Open a web browser on your PC and t ype http:/ / 192. 168. 1. 2. A pop-up window will open t o ask f or username and password. Please ent er " admin/ admin" as t he Username/ Password and click Login.

You may eit her simply set up your comput er t o get IP dynamically f rom t he rout er or set up t he IP address of t he comput er t o be in t he same subnet as the IP address of VigorAP 962C.
If t here is no DHCP server on t he net work, t hen VigorAP 962C will have an IP address of 192. 168. 1. 2.
If t here is DHCP available on t he net work, t hen VigorAP 962C will receive it s IP address via t he DHCP server.
3. Next , t he page will appear t o guide you change t he login password.
You MUST change t he login password bef ore accessing t he web user int erf ace. Please set a new password f or net work securit y.

4. Af t er clicking Apply, t he Main Screen will pop up. When t he homepage appears, view t he conf igurat ion and modif y t he set t ings if you want .

Method 2: 1. Use a mobile phone t o scan t he QR code named wit h DrayTek Wireless App
t o download DrayTek Wireless APP.
2. Af t er opening t he DrayTek websit e, use t he scroll bar t o locat e t he Wireless APP.
3. Based on t he mobile phone t ype (Android or iOS) you have, select t he one you need t o downl oad t he APP. Then, run t he APP.
4. From t he home page, click t he Connect icon t o access t he Connect page. Next , press t he QR code icon next t o Scan QR Code on your phone screen t o open t he camera. Scan t he QR code named wit h Connect SSID t o access t he web user int erf ace (conf igurat ion wizard) of VigorAP 962C. (For iOS users, t he SSID and t he password will be shown f irst . Simply click t he Connect but t on t o access t he web user int erf ace of VigorAP. )
