2. Connect with a TV
Is there an HDMI IN jack labeled "ARC" on your TV?
YES:
Connect the supplied HDMI cable from your TV's HDMI OUT (ARC) jack to the subwoofer's HDMI OUT (ARC) jack. Connect your Blu-ray Disc™ player, cable box, or satellite box to the TV's HDMI IN jack using an HDMI cable.
NO:
If your TV does not support the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function, connect an optical digital cable (not supplied) from your TV's OPTICAL OUT jack to the subwoofer's TV IN (OPTICAL) jack to listen to TV sound. Connect your Blu-ray Disc™ player, cable box, or satellite box to the TV's HDMI IN jack using an HDMI cable.
Note:
- ? Check the shape of the TV IN (OPTICAL) jack on the subwoofer and the optical digital cable's connector. Insert the connector into the jack in the correct direction to avoid damage.
3. Connect AC power cords (mains leads) of the TV and the speaker system
- Connect the AC power cord (mains lead) of the TV and turn it on.

Volume Adjustment:
