00 Getting Started
This manual provides instructions for setting up and using your NexFoto digital photo frame.
01 App Features
The NexFoto app allows you to manage your photo frame from your smartphone.
Pair the NexFoto App with Frame
Step 1: Scan the QR code or search for "NexFoto app" in your app store to download the app.
Step 2: Follow the prompts to register an account. The photo frame will enter the Activation Guide interface.
- Select "It's for Me" if the frame is for yourself or a gift from someone else.
- Select "It's a Gift" to preload content and surprise someone.
Step 3: Select the frame and set up the WiFi connection.
Note: Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on your phone. Connect to the same WiFi network for optimal experience.
Upload Photos & Videos to Frame
Step 1: Select photos
Tap [] to choose "Photo Gallery" to upload existing photos/videos or "Take a Photo" to capture new ones.
Note: You can select up to 50 photos at a time. Videos are limited to 30 seconds.
Step 2: Preview and edit photos
You can preview, delete, add more photos, edit, or add captions to your photos.
- Transform: Adjust the photo ratio.
- Filter: Apply filters to enhance the photo.
- Adjust: Modify brightness, contrast, and saturation.
- Add Caption: Add a comment or greeting.
Step 3: Select important areas to display
Choose the most important parts of the photo to be prioritized during display.
My Albums
Your private collection of photos and videos, stored locally on the frame. You can organize them into different albums.
Shared Albums
Share memories with family and friends. Photos are stored in the cloud. Create up to 5 albums for different groups.
Note: Maximum 5 shared albums and 15 members per album.
Sync with Google Photos
Connect your Google Photos account to sync albums and photos.
Manage My Albums
Rename albums, add photos/videos, select photos/videos to delete, or play/delete albums.
Invite members to join the Shared Albums
Invite friends and family via email. New members will receive instructions via email.
Manage members in Shared Albums
Manage invited members, view former members, and remove members.
Manage Shared Albums
Rename albums, add photos/videos, and select photos/videos to copy or delete.
Manage photo
Manage individual photos: display immediately, share, or delete.
02 Frame Features
Display Photos & Videos
The frame plays photos as a slideshow. Customize play modes and edit photos. The frame also displays weather and time during the slideshow.
- During slideshow: Tap to bring up the menu.
- Slideshow customization: Access slideshow effects, timers, and background settings.
- Frame Settings: Adjust On/Off, Volume, Brightness, Language, Time Zone, Time Display, Weather Location, Temperature Unit, Weather Display, and Network settings.
- Frame Information: View Local Storage, Mac ID, Frame ID, and Frame Software.
Gallery
Explore a collection of famous paintings. Browse by genre and artistic style. Add paintings to "My Gallery" and display them on your frame.
Activity
View photo uploads from Shared Albums in the Activity feed. Like or comment on photos.

- Settings: Adjust app language, clear cache, and update the app.

Remote Control
Use the app as a remote control when connected to the same WiFi.
- Fit: Switch between full-screen and original image ratios.
- Pause/Play: Control slideshow playback and switch photos.
- Volume: Adjust volume.
- Favorite: Like photos.
- Rotate: Rotate photos.
- Details: View photo details.
- Slideshow: Customize slideshow settings.
03 Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the frame have to be plugged in all the time? Yes, it requires a constant DC outlet connection.
- Does the frame have to have WiFi to get photos? You can save photos on a memory card and insert it into the frame. You can also display photos without a network connection.
- Does this frame have to be Wi-Fi connected to work? WiFi is needed for setup, receiving new photos/videos, user requests, and software updates. The frame can play photos/videos without WiFi.
- Is there a maximum supported video LENGTH? Each video clip is limited to 200MB.
- How can I change the Slideshow Effect and Slideshow Timer? Access the options from the button in the upper left corner.
- Can videos and photos be played by themselves in the same folder? Yes, videos and photos in the "My Albums" folder can be played together.
- Can this frame automatically turn on/off at a specific time? Yes, you can set this in the Sleep settings.

- Electrical safety: Do not open, disassemble, or repair the frame yourself. Use only the included AC adapter. Ensure your power source is compatible.
- Other safety considerations: Consult a doctor if you have medical conditions affected by flashing lights.
- Using with other electronic devices: The frame contains magnets and emits radio frequencies that may interfere with medical devices.
- Proper Handling and Usage: For indoor use only. Place on stable surfaces. Keep away from water, liquids, and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Cables, Connectors and ports: Do not pull cables. Do not overload sockets. Arrange cables to prevent tripping hazards.
- Care and Cleaning: Unplug before cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasives or harsh chemicals.
- Repairing your device: Contact customer support for repairs. Do not attempt self-repair.
