General Power Tool Safety Warning - Workplace Safety
1. Keep your workplace clean and bright. Messy and dark sites can cause accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive environments, such as those with flammable liquids, gases or dusts. Sparks from power tools can ignite dust or gas, creating an electric shock hazard.
3. Keep children and bystanders away from power tools. Inattentiveness can cause the operator to lose control of the tool.
General Power Tool Safety Warning - Electrical Safety
1. Power tool plugs must be matched to the socket or battery packs must be matched to the machine. Plugs or battery packs must never be modified in any way, and no adapter plugs can be used for power tools that require grounding. Using unmodified plugs and matching sockets/unmodified battery packs and matching machines will reduce the risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid human contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, heat sinks and refrigerators. If you physically ground yourself it will increase the risk of electric shock.
3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
4. Do not abuse electrical cords. Never carry, pull, or unplug power tools with electrical cords.Never carry, pull, or unplug power tools by their cords.Keep cords away from heat, oil, sharp edges ormoving parts. Damaged or tangled cords can increase the risk of electric shock.
5. Do not abuse electrical cords. Never carry, pull or unplug a power tool by its cord. Keep cords away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
6. If operation of the power tool in a wet environment is unavoidable, use a residual current action protector (RCD). The use of an RCD will reduce the risk of electric shock.

3. Prevents accidental starting. When the switch is connected to the power supply or battery compartment, make sure the switch is in the OFF position when picking up or handling the tool. Fingers on a switch that is powered on or plugged in when the switch is on may cause a hazard.
4. Remove all adjustment keys or wrenches before powering on the power tool. Wrenches or keys left on rotating parts of the power tool can cause personal injury.
5. Do not extend your hands too far and always be aware of your foothold and body balance. This gives you good control of the power tool in the event of an accident.
6. Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or accessories. Keep clothing, gloves and hair away from moving parts. Loose clothing, accessories or long hair may get caught in moving parts.
