The adapter supports optimal performance with USB 3.0 and is backward compatible with USB 2.0. How it works
- Install driver: The USB-HDMI Adapter requires driver installation. Install from the CD included in the package. If your computer lacks a CD reader, the adapter contains a flash drive with the driver. Access it via "My Computer" as if it were a USB flash drive (e.g., "C:D:"). Manually install the driver. The monitor should turn on afterward. If the screen is zoomed, manually adjust the resolution setting. Drivers can also be downloaded from the BENFEI website: http://www.think-benfei.com/p_driver.html.
- Mac OS: For Mac OS, open screen recording settings and allow "fl2000_display" to record the screen.
- Connection: Connect the USB 3.0 male end to a USB 3.0 port on your computer and the HDMI female end to an HDMI cable connected to the display.

FAQ:
- The screen display abnormally?
Verify that your system display adapter driver is installed correctly. If you have DisplayLink devices installed, remove their drivers from Control Panel > Programs and Features, as they may affect performance. If the adapter is connected to a USB 3.0 Hub, connect it directly to a USB 3.0 port on your computer instead.
- Why only 800x600?
This adapter operates at 800x600 when connected via USB 2.0 speed. Ensure your computer has a USB 3.0 port (look for "SS" next to the USB symbol or blue plastic centers). If your computer lacks USB 3.0 ports, the maximum resolution will be 800x600. If USB 3.0 ports are available, try connecting to a different USB 3.0 port. If the resolution remains 800x600, try alternative USB 3.0 ports.
- Want to try more monitors?
This adapter requires significant data transfer. Most computer systems cannot send enough data over USB 3.0 for multiple USB to HDMI adapters simultaneously, which can lead to flickering or blank monitors. To optimize performance, avoid using USB hubs. If your system has multiple USB 3.0 Host controllers, connect one USB to HDMI adapter to each controller. Consider adding a PCIe to USB 3.0 adapter card to your system.
