SELECTING THE AUDIO SYSTEM:

For vehicles equipped with a Bose system, the SONGM-11 features a built-in Bose adaptor for proper audio input gain to the Bose amplifier. Connect the male 8-pin connector on the harness to the GRAY female 8-pin connector on the SONGM-11 module (labeled "Bose"). For vehicles NOT equipped with a Bose system, connect the male 8-pin connector to the BLACK female 8-pin connector on the SONGM-11 module (labeled "Non Bose").

Note: The module is labeled "Bose" and "Non Bose" to prevent confusion.

CHIME VOLUME ADJUSTMENT:

The SONGM-11 has a potentiometer to adjust the chime volume, which is set to half-way by default. To adjust the volume, use a screwdriver: turn clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

ONSTAR VOLUME ADJUSTMENT:

To adjust the OnStar volume, turn on OnStar and use the Steering Wheel Control volume adjustment. The SONGM-11 will memorize the set level.
