DURING USE
The indicator lights illuminate forwards and backwards in a cycling pattern during use.
- The head shaver cannot be used while charging.
- A full 2-hour charge provides up to 60 minutes of shaving time.
- To preserve battery life, avoid charging after every use. It is best practice to use the shaver until only one light is flashing and then recharge.
Note: Some countries may require a plug adaptor, which is not included.
SHAVING YOUR HEAD
- Hold the head shaver body in your palm. Press the On/Off switch to turn it on.
- Press the five cutting heads against your scalp. Do not press hard; pressing harder does not cut closer and may increase irritation. The cutting heads flex to follow the contours of your head.
- Move the shaver slowly around your head using linear strokes or a rotating motion, whichever you find most effective.
- Use a hand-held mirror to check the back of your head for a complete shave. You can also use your other hand to feel for consistent cutting.
- The head shaver is not recommended for facial hair.
- Turn the shaver off when finished.
TURBO FEATURE
Use the Turbo feature for thick hair. Press the turbo button to activate Turbo mode; the charging indicator light pattern will speed up. Press the turbo button again to deactivate.
SHAVING TIPS
- Do not attempt to shave head hair longer than 4 days growth or 2.0 mm. The Ultimate Series Rx7 is intended for maintaining a shaved look and can be used daily or every two to three days.
- The shaver cannot cut long hair down to a shaved length. If your hair is longer than 2.0 mm, trim it with a hair clipper first.
- The Ultimate Series Rx7 head shaver can be used dry or with shaving cream or gel in the shower.
TRIMMING
Pop-up Trimmer:
The pop-up trimmer is located at the top of the shaver body and can be used for trimming beard edges, sideburns, or ears.
- Turn the shaver on to activate the trimmer. Slide the release button down for the trimmer to pop up.
- Use cutting strokes in the direction opposite to how the trimmer folds away.
- Fold the trimmer into its stored position when finished.
Note: Lubricate the trimmer teeth with oil every 6 months.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- To ensure long-lasting performance, clean the product after each use.
- The Ultimate Series Rx7 head shaver collects hair clippings, minimizing mess.
- Ensure the shaver is switched off and disconnected from the charging cable before cleaning.
- The shaver is washable and can be cleaned by rinsing under warm water.
- When using shaving creams or gels, clean the shaver after each use to prevent clogging.
- Do not use strong detergents or chemicals on the external surfaces.
- Wipe the shaver surface with a dry towel to dry. Do not use a hair dryer or heater.
- The shaver head and neck assembly detaches from the shaver body by pulling upwards. Align the neck with the attachment cavity and push to reattach.
- If the unit pulsates, apply a small amount of light lubricating oil to each cutter head while the unit is off.
- Apply a small drop of oil to a fingertip and touch it to each cutter head, gently wiping the oil onto the cutter. Wipe off excess oil. Re-oil as needed.
- Suitable oils include hair clipper oil, sewing machine oil, or olive oil.
Note: Clean the cutter heads under running water after each use.
SAFETY MODE
The head shaver will turn off and enter safety mode if battery demand is too high, possibly due to inadequate cleaning or excessive hair clippings in the hair pocket.
- If this occurs, open and clean the shaver. The left and right charging indicator lights will flash for ten seconds. After an additional 5 seconds, the shaver will reset and operate normally.

REPLACING SHAVING HEADS & CUTTERS
Refer to the specifications table for the correct replacement part number (SP-HC7500AU-BA). Replace shaving heads and cutters every 12 months for optimal performance and to prevent irritation.
Signs of wear include:
- Irritation: Increased skin irritation as heads wear, especially when applying lotion.
- Pulling: A feeling of pulling or loss of closeness during shaving indicates it's time for replacement.
Keep the neck of the head shaver when replacing heads and cutters. Replacement parts can be obtained from local retailers or directly from Remington® by filling out the accessory order form or calling the Remington® Service Hotline.
