The front of the calculator displays the "MAUL ECO MD2" branding and "10 DIGITS" indicator. Below the display are the control keys:
- Power ON / Clear: (ON/C) button to turn the device on and clear the current entry or all data.
- Clear Entry: (CE) button to clear the last entered number.
- Memory Recall/Clear: (MRC) button to recall the stored value or clear the memory.
- Memory Subtract: (M-) button to subtract the displayed value from the independent memory.
- Memory Add: (M+) button to add the displayed value to the independent memory.
- Memory Use: (MU) button for memory usage.
- Percentage: (%) button for percentage calculations.
- Division: (÷) button.
- Numeric keypad (0-9).
- Multiplication: (X) button.
- Subtraction: (-) button.
