SAFETY CAUTIONS
According to relevant standards, to avoid accident and accidental injury, only professional operators are allowed to use this machine (children or non-professional operators are forbidden to operate). When you use or maintain these machines, please pay high attention to safety cautions below:
SETTLEMENT POSITION
The weight of this kind machine is heavy; please put it balanced and in a clean place.
POWER
Please connect with the power source correctly in accordance with the specification. The machine will run irregularly if the voltage is too high or too low. We suggest you use alternating current (AC) power source with steady voltage to improve your working efficiency.
GROUND CONNECTION
For safety, you should use an electric supply socket with a ground wire connected.
SUPERCHARGE
Please don't connect many electrical products to one electric supply socket, because supercharge may cause a fire or an electric shock.
CLEANNESS
Before you clean or maintain the machines, you must cut off the electric source and pull out the electric supply socket.
WATERPROOF
Prevent water or other liquid flow into the inner machine.
Additional Safety Points and Operation Guidance
- Children or non-professional persons must not operate this machine.
- Do not reach beneath the blade.
- Do not reach cut.
- Do not cut hard material or materials which may splinter.
- Must use a socket with a ground wire connected.

III. BASIC OPERATION AND BASIC ADJUSTMENT
1. Basic Operations
- Before operating the machine, please remove any objects on the machine and clean it.
- Insert the power plug into the socket.
- Turn the protective switch to ON position. Press the Emergency stop button, and the display screen should light up and show digits. The indicative line light should be on. The display screen shows the last digit, and the paper pushing enters automatic adjustment. The machine can then work normally.
- Press number buttons to enter the cut size. For example, if 285mm is the current size, press 2850, then press OK. The paper pushing will move to the 285.0 position automatically. The display shows 285.0.
- Place paper stacks or books in the cutting area, keeping them level with the front left guide.
- Make the cut after confirming the cut size. Press two CUT buttons simultaneously. The paper clamp comes down before the blade. After clamping the paper tightly, the blade comes down. If there is a mistake, release the two CUT buttons immediately. The blade and paper clamp will stop. Then press the RESET button. Make a cut again after confirming the cut size and paper stacks are correctly positioned until finishing.
[Image description: Sequence of images showing basic operation steps: power switch, emergency stop button, paper pusher in action, placing paper for cutting, cutting process with clamp and blade.]
2. Size adjusting
If the cut size is not the same as the displayed size, please turn off the machine. Then turn it on again and press the reset button.
If the problem is not solved by the above operation, please proceed as follows: Cut off the power, remove the back plate under the pusher. Then check if there are any obstructions in the driving screw rod.
Check if the stepping motor is normal. Remove the front cover plate and check if the synchronous pulley and synchronous belt are fixed normally.
Adjust the support chip in the nut, move it forwards and backwards until the displayed size matches the cut size. Then tighten the screw.
[Image description: Diagrams illustrating size adjusting procedures, including checking the screw rod and motor components.]
3. Cutting Blade Adjustment
First, fine-adjust the cutting blade depth. The adjustable depth range is about 5mm, or change the side of the cutting stick.
If the last paper still cannot be cut completely after fine adjustment of the cutting blade depth, adjust the balanced screw of the cutting blade depth once more. Unscrew the screws on both sides from the upper cover. Then remove the upper cover.
[Image description: Images showing the cutting blade depth adjustment mechanism and the process of removing the upper cover.]
Disassemble 7 retaining M6 screws on the blade carrier which fixes the blade. Adjust the depth of the blade to make the paper cut completely until the blade cuts into the cutting stick about 0.3-0.5 mm.
Tighten the fastening screws on the blade carrier. Cover up and make it fasten. Choose one piece of paper for a trial cut. If it cannot be cut completely, you can re-adjust according to the above processes.
4. Blade replacement (please follow the steps carefully)
- Open the upper cover.
- Loosen and remove the locking screws with openings on the tool holder. Screw the two disassembly screws into the opening screw holes in a clockwise direction and fix and lock them.
[Image description: Images showing the process of loosening screws and using disassembly screws for blade replacement.]
Remove the other locking screws on the tool rest.
Turn the two disassembly screws counter-clockwise for half a circle and then take out the blade downward. Put the blade in the knife box with gloves or cloth to avoid scratches.
Be more careful when taking a new blade out. The blade cutter point must not be towards the body.
When you install the blade, you should screw up the screw stems. Set the blade on the blade carrier, use the screw strip to fasten and fix up, then adjust according to the cutting depth adjustment method.
[Image description: Diagrams showing the blade carrier, screw adjustment, and blade installation.]
Blade sharpening needs to be done in a professional factory to ensure the quality.
Note: A dull blade cannot cut paper correctly. Also, a blade will become dull if it always cuts thick paper or pasteboard. If cutting quality and accuracy do not meet the required standard, the blade needs to be changed. Your work will go smoothly if you always have one replacement on hand.
When you need to change the blade, you must operate according to the steps of blade change instruction.
Note: To avoid any injury, you must be the most careful when you change the blade.
5. Cutting stick adjustment
One cutting stick can be used with 4 surfaces, and each surface can be cut in two times.
One time can be used for many cuts. When the slash on the shim is too deep, you should adjust or change the cutting stick.
Knife shim can be taken out by screw and should be assembled onto the cutting desk flatly when it needs to be set back.
Knife shim should lean to the left side, then re-push the front brace plate.
Note: When the blade is replaced, the blade itself must also be adjusted. If the blade cuts too deep, it not only "easily damages the blade" but also causes accelerated wear of the blade.
[Image description: Images showing the cutting stick and its surfaces, and the process of adjusting the cutting stick.]
IV. LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
1. Lubrication
The machine should have its cover plate opened, parts checked and cleaned, and moving parts lubricated once a month. Please be careful to avoid lubricating oil on electrical circuits or electronic components when refueling. To avoid breakdowns.
[Image description: Images showing lubrication points on the machine's moving parts.]
2. Maintenance
- When the machine is running, foreign objects are forbidden to be placed on the machine, because if hard objects come under the blade, the blade will be damaged. There should be no staple pins in the books being cut to avoid damaging the blade.
- After everyday work, you should wipe the machine, remove debris, wax the blade to protect it, and cut the power.
