• Featuring two interchangeable LED modules, the Olantern allows you to switch between standard white light or an ambient flickering flame.

Product Overview

The Olantern features a hanging hook, a detachable cover, an LED module, a button, and a battery indicator.

The button is located on the top. Before first use, please press and hold the button to unlock.

Battery Level Indicator

The battery indicator around the button is motion-sensitive. It fades on and off to indicate battery level when the Olantern is moved. After seven seconds with no motion, the indicator will turn off.

• >70% Green Indicator
• 30-70% Yellow Indicator
• <30% Red Indicator
• <10% Indicator Blinks Red

Notice

The Olantern battery indicator is motion-sensitive. The indicator will fade on and off in green, yellow, or red to indicate a high, medium, or low battery level when you move the Olantern. After seven seconds with no motion, the indicator will turn off.

Safety Precautions

⚠️ DANGER:

• DO NOT throw the light directly into human eyes, which may cause temporary blindness or permanent damage to the eyes.
• DO NOT cover the Olantern that is on. The generated heat can cause burning or unpredictable disasters.
• Keep it out of reach of children.

❗ WARNING:

• DO NOT immerse the Olantern in water.

Charging

Before first use, please fully charge the product.

Connect the magnetic USB end of the charging cable (MCC3) to an external USB power source, then attach the other end of the magnetic charging cable to the charging port.

• Red indicator: Charging
• Green indicator: Full (over 95%) or disconnected

Only charge with standard MCC3, not compatible with other MCC.

Time to fully charge: 7 hours (For reference only. When the USB power source is insufficient to provide 8W power capacity, the charging time will be longer).

How to Operate

ON/OFF

Single click the button to turn the Olantern ON/OFF. The Olantern will return to the previously memorized setting when it is on.

Change Brightness

When the Olantern is on with the White Light LED Module, press and hold the button. The Olantern will start from the present brightness and automatically cycle through low, medium, and high settings. For the Flaming LED Module, the brightness is fixed and cannot be changed.

Lockout/Unlock

When the Olantern is off, press and hold the button. It will enter the Lockout mode after staying in the low setting for a while. Under the lockout mode, a single click on the button will turn on a red indicator around the button to signal that the Olantern is locked. To unlock it, keep holding the button until the Low mode is on again.

LED Module Replacement

Turn off the Olantern. Unscrew the cover as guided by the "OPEN" mark on the upper cap and remove it. Turn the LED module anticlockwise and remove it from the base. Fetch another module and screw it onto the base. Reinstall the cover.

If the LED module is not put in place, the indicator around the button will have no response and the product won't work when you turn on the Olantern.

Safety Precaution: Before replacing the LED module, please turn off the Olantern for a while to allow it to cool. ? [hot surface]

Warranty

• Within 30 days of purchase: Contact the original seller for repair or replacement.
• Within 2 years of purchase: Contact Olight for repair or replacement.
• USB magnetic charging cable: 1 year.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an Authorized retailer or Olight itself.
