LIONWEI USB-C Multi-function Hub Adapter
This document provides instructions for the LIONWEI USB-C Multi-function Hub Adapter, an alloy device designed to extend the USB-C interface of source devices. It supports video output from compatible USB-C source devices (mobile, notebook, tablet PC).
Product Overview
The hub expands a single USB-C port into multiple connectivity options:
- 1. RJ45: Provides up to 1000Mbps for stable, high-speed wired network access.
- 2. USB 3.0: Offers data speeds up to 5Gbps and a maximum power output of 5V/0.9A. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
- 3. USB 3.1: Delivers data speeds up to 10Gbps and a maximum power output of 5V/0.9A. It is backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1.
- 4. USB-C (Data): Supports data speeds up to 10Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1.
- 5. USB-C PD 3.0: Allows upstream charging for source devices like laptops, supporting up to 100W power input. Charging is limited to 87-96W for safety, which may vary based on firmware.
- 6. HDMI 1: Supports a maximum resolution of 4Kx2K at 60Hz (3840x2160) when operating independently (requires DP 1.4 from the source). When both HDMI ports are used simultaneously, the maximum resolution is 4Kx2K at 30Hz (3840x2160).
- 7. HDMI 2: Supports a maximum resolution of 4Kx2K at 30Hz (3840x2160) when operating independently or simultaneously (requires DP 1.2 or higher from the source).
Connectivity Diagram
The hub connects to a source device (Notebook or Tablet PC) via USB-C. It then provides connections to an Ethernet port, two HDMI displays, a USB-C data port, a USB-C PD 3.0 port, three USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 3.1 ports.
