2. Floor Installation with Base
2-1 Installation Location Requirements
Wall Clearance: ≥300mm
Ground Clearance: ≥300mm
Distance from wall (side): ≥300mm
Distance from front: 500mm ≤ d ≤ 600mm
Note:
- If more than 4 batteries are used, base mounting is recommended.
- For floor installation with base, the maximum stack number of the battery is ten. But if the battery number is greater than six, stacking in two lines is recommended.
2-2 Installation Procedure
Diagrams illustrate the step-by-step procedure for floor installation with a base, including stacking batteries and installing safety parts. The safety part should be installed at the top battery. If the battery pack is higher than 7, an additional safety part should be installed in the middle battery.
3. Wall-Mounted Installation Process
3-1 Installation Location Requirements
Wall Clearance: ≥300mm
Ground Clearance: ≥300mm
Distance from wall (side): ≥300mm
Distance from front: 500mm ≤ d ≤ 1000mm
Note: The number of wall-mount installations should not exceed four. Ensure the weight capacity of the wall exceeds 150kg.
3-2 Installation Procedure
Diagrams detail the wall-mounting installation procedure, including attaching the wall bracket, mounting the battery, and securing it. A note indicates to adjust the screw to ensure the battery is in a horizontal position.
4. Install Environment
Diagrams show the battery system installed on a wall, protected from direct sunlight and rain. A note advises building a sun and rain shade.
5. Wire Connection
5-1 HVC 60050-C2 Interface Introduction
The HVC 60050-C2 unit has the following interfaces:
- 1: Communication with PCS
- 2: Pressure relief valve
- 3: Parallel communication input
- 4: Parallel communication output
- 5: Communication with battery
- 6: Terminal connected to battery
- 7: Ground terminal
- 8: Terminal connected to PCS
- 9: Ground terminal
- 10: USB interface
- 11: Breaker
- 12: Power button
5-2 ARK 2.5H-A2 Connection end face Introduction
The ARK 2.5H-A2 unit has the following interfaces:
- 1: Communication input
- 2: Communication output
- 3: Module LINK
- 4: Module positive terminal
- 5: Ground terminal
- 6: Pressure relief valve
- 7: Ground terminal
5-3 Diagram of wiring connection
Wiring diagrams show the connection between the battery system and the PCS using CAN cables and insert plugs. The diagrams illustrate connections for both ARK 2.5H-A2 series cables and ARK 2.5H-A2 cables.
Notes:
- Ensure the voltage difference of the battery pack is less than 0.5V before installation.
- For the same system, it is recommended to use batteries with a manufacturing date difference within 3 months to avoid capacity limitations.
- If a switch is used between the PCS and the battery, a circuit breaker with a rated voltage greater than 750V and a rated current greater than 63A is recommended.
6. Terminal Connection
6-1 Power terminal
Diagrams show how to connect the power terminal on both the battery side and wire side. A note indicates to press the indicated position before disconnecting the power terminal.
6-2 Communication terminal
Diagrams illustrate the connection of the communication terminal on both the battery side and wire side.
7. Battery system switch operation
- Power ON battery system: Turn the circuit breaker to the "on" state, press the "POWER" button for 5-6 seconds, and wait for the LED to light up.
- Power OFF battery system: Turn the circuit breaker to "off" to power down the entire battery system.
