Mounting Hole Size

Use a 10mm drill bit to drill a hole of 60mm depth.

Bottom of the Inverter

Some models may have a different number of DC inputs. Please refer to the datasheet, nameplate, or the actual product for details.

The bottom typically features:

If no PV string is connected to the DC input terminals, install the watertight cap onto the empty DC input terminals to guarantee the inverter's ingress protection rating.

Inverter Installation

Ensure the mounting bracket is horizontal. Use a Phillips screwdriver to fasten the expansion bolts.

Lift the inverter and hang it securely on the bracket.

DC Connector Wiring and Assembly

Use a wire crimper to fasten the metal connector to the cable (2.5-4mm² wire gauge). Insert the connector into the top of the MC4 connector. Use the MC4 special tool to fasten the MC4 assembly securely.

Assemble the AC Cable

Strip the insulation sleeve of the cable to approximately 70mm, ensuring the copper-cored connectors have about 9mm exposed.

Lead the cables through the nut and sleeve. Insert the corresponding terminals (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) and tighten with an Allen wrench. The recommended torque value is 1.8-2.0 N.m.

Clip the plastic fixture into the socket element and tighten the adapter. Then, tighten the swivel nut with a torque of 3-4 N.m.

Connect the AC connector to the inverter until a slight clicking sound [click sound indicator] indicates a successful connection.

External Ground Connection

An external ground connection point is provided on the right side of the inverter. Prepare OT terminals (M4 size). Use appropriate tooling to crimp the lug to the terminal.

Install the Datalogger

Note: Turn off the AC and DC circuits before installation.

  1. Insert the communication stick into the COM port.
  2. Rotate the black circle clockwise while pushing the datalogger (do not rotate the datalogger housing directly).

Commissioning

  1. Switch on the AC breaker.
  2. Switch on the DC switch. If no DC switch is present, wait until the string voltage is higher than the inverter's startup voltage.

Once the string voltage is higher than the startup voltage, the inverter will initialize.

The inverter will perform a self-check, indicated by a flashing green LED.

After the self-check is complete, the inverter will start generating power. The green LED will become constantly on, and the LCD will display "Generating".

Completion

The initial installation is now complete.
