Introduction
Satellite portable restrooms must be assembled according to approved assembly procedures. Avoid variations in assembly procedures which could adversely affect product life and warranty.
Preassembly
Inspect all items for damage. Verify quantities are correct (refer to page 4). Read through the entire instruction booklet before starting.
Important: Do not remove the shipping screw from the door until instructed.

Helpful Hints
- Keep work area organized.
- Do not open all kit boxes at once; only open enough to assemble the units you are currently working on.
- Use toilet paper holders as parts bins when assembling multiple units.
- The assembly procedure is written for a single unit. For multiple units, consider an assembly line approach for efficiency.
- An apron with large pockets is useful for holding parts and tools.

Assembly Instructions
1. Ready Work Surface
Create a raised work surface by stacking bases or pallets. Place cardboard on top to prevent damage.
Place the Front Assembly on top of the work surface, with cardboard in place.
Place the Tank on the Front Assembly, with the seat opening facing left or right.
Note: The Tank will remain inside the restroom. See page 9 for further details.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the portable restroom tank being placed onto the front assembly of the base.
2. Install Panels
Place the Panels on the Front Assembly, leaning them against the Tank.
Align the Panel and Front Assembly knuckles; they must be fully nested together.
Insert the Fiberglass Rod (Part #18681), angled end first, through all the knuckles. Ensure the rod is fully seated in the bottom knuckle.
Repeat this process for the remaining two panels (side and rear).
Note: If the rod will not insert, drill the top knuckle of the panel and front assembly using a 5/16" drill bit. Do not drill through the panel or front assembly walls.
Diagram Description: This section shows the process of attaching side panels to the front assembly. It illustrates aligning panel knuckles and inserting a fiberglass rod (Part #6, QTY 4). Instructions include 'PUSH' and 'SPIN' actions for rod insertion, and a note to 'Use hammer if needed'. A close-up view details the proper nesting of panel and front assembly knuckles.
3. Fasten Panels to Base
Note: If the unit includes a Handwash, refer to Handwash Installation Instructions (Part #22419) before proceeding.
A. Impact Base (Part #10034) Option
Note: Use the same process for the (10033) Grid Base.
Start with the Rear Panel. Place its bottom edge against the top of the spacer ribs at each corner. Center the panel using the centering bump as a reference.
Install five (5) Screws (Part #13860).
With the Side Panels against the top of the spacer ribs, install five (5) screws (Part #13860). Note the center panel using the centering bump.
Repeat the process for the remaining panel.
Note: Side panels must be flush with the spacing ribs at each corner. Do not overtighten screws.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates attaching panels to the impact base. It shows the base with 'SPACER RIBS' and a 'CENTER BUMP'. Screws (Part #22, QTY 15) are shown securing the panels to the base.
4. Fasten Front to Base
A. Impact Base (Part #10034) Option
Note: Use the same process for the (10033) Grid Base.
Install five (5) Screws (Part #13860).
Remove the shipping screw (Part #26). Save it for later (see page 11).
Open the door and install the final Screw (Part #13860).

5. Install Hasps on Facing & Door
Align holes in Hasp (Part #13199) with Facing holes and insert two (2) Rivets (Part #11270) through the holes. Place two (2) Washers (Part #11315) on the rivets and secure.
Align holes in Hasp (Part #13197) with Door holes. Insert two (2) Rivets (Part #11270) through the holes. Place two (2) Washers (Part #11315) on the rivets and secure.
Diagram Description: Two diagrams illustrate the installation of hasps. The left diagram shows a 'FACING' component with a 'HASP' (Part #14) being attached using 'RIVETS' (Part #21, QTY 2) and 'WASHERS' (Part #24, QTY 2). The right diagram shows the 'DOOR' component with a 'HASP' (Part #15) attached similarly with 'RIVETS' (Part #21, QTY 2) and 'WASHERS' (Part #24, QTY 2).
6. Install Tank & Toilet Seat
Note: This step requires 2 people.
Place the Tank into the cradle opening in the Base.
Push and hold the tank down, or sit on the tank (Person 1).
Install four (4) Screws (Part #13860) from the outside (Person 2).
Diagram Description: The diagram shows the portable restroom tank being placed into its cradle within the base. It indicates the action 'PUSH TANK DOWN' and shows screws (Part #22, QTY 4) being used to secure the tank from the outside.
7. Install Seat
Install the Toilet Seat onto the Tank using the plastic bolts and nuts provided with the seat. Do not overtighten.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows the toilet seat (Part #8) being placed onto the installed tank.
8. Install Urinal
Locate the drill point in the side panel, approximately 36 inches above the floor.
Drill using a #10 drill bit with a Stop Collar set at 3/8". Caution: Drill through the first layer only.
Insert the Urinal drain tube into the 1-9/16" hole in the Tank and align it with the drilled panel hole.
Rivet using Rivet (Part #22199).
Transfer the drill hole through the Front Facing using a #10 drill bit, drilling at an angle (see diagram).
Rivet in place using Rivet (Part #11024) and Washer (Part #11315).
Diagram Description: Two diagrams illustrate the urinal installation. The first shows a drill bit with a stop collar drilling a hole in the side panel. The second shows the urinal drain tube being inserted and riveted (Part #19) into place. Another diagram shows a drill bit being used at an angle on the front facing, followed by a rivet (Part #20) and washer (Part #24) being used to secure it.
9. Install Paper Guard
Note: For restrooms with optional Handwash, see Option B below.
Option A: Standard Installation
Locate four (4) drill points on the right-hand panel (see diagram).
Drill with a #10 drill bit & Stop Collar set to 3/8".
