Installation Guide
- Step 1: Attach the bracket to the AI Box using the provided sunk head screws.
- Step 2: Secure the assembly to a wall or panel using the provided tapping screws and anchors.
- Step 3: Install the dual Wi-Fi Antenna.
- Step 4: Install the GPS Antenna.
- Step 5: Connect Mic, Audio, USB Type-C, and Micro HDMI cables.
- Step 6: Insert the SD Card.
- Step 7: Connect the DI/DO terminal connector to the AI Box.
- Step 8: Connect external cables to the DI/DO terminals on the connector. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the connector to secure the wires.

Signal Connection
Two options to connect devices:
- Option 1: Use the network cable connected from the PoE switch to the PoE interface on the AI Box. No need for a 12VDC power supply.
- Option 2: Use a 12VDC power supply and connect the AI Box to the network switch using a LAN cable.
Diagrams illustrate connecting multiple network cameras to the AI Box via a PoE switch or a 12VDC adapter.
Accessing the AI Box
Password Setting
The AI Box IP address is set to DHCP by default. Use the AI View Scanner App to find the IP address. Refer to the WebUI User Manual for detailed installation steps. Upon initial access, you will be prompted to reset the password.
In the "Administrator password change" window:
- For passwords 8-9 characters long, use at least 3 character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- For passwords 10-15 characters long, use at least 2 character types.
- Special characters include: ~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - = + | {{ }} [ ] . ? /
Login Screen
When accessing the AI Box, a login window will appear. Enter your username and password:
- Enter "admin" in the <User name> field.
- Enter your chosen password in the <Password> field.
- Click the arrow icon ▶️.
Reset Procedure
The reset button is used for factory reset. To reset the device: Unplug the Box, press and hold the reset button, plug in the power, and continue holding for about 10 seconds before releasing. The Box will perform a factory reset and boot up.
Safety Information
Follow these guidelines for proper device operation:
- Recommended to use shielded network cables (STP).
- Recommended to use CAT5e or higher network cables.
- Store the AI Box in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment.
- Avoid impact or placing heavy objects on the AI Box.
- Do not install the AI Box on unstable pillars, brackets, surfaces, or walls.
- Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the device. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
- Use only standard tools and accessories for installation. Bkav recommends using the manufacturer's power supply or a compatible equivalent. Improper installation may damage the product.
- Contact Bkav customer support or authorized agents for assistance.

- Use the original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage during transport.
