Braun SpaceStation All electronic connections and edp links have to be disconnected from the power grid before cleaning or disinfection of the Space Station. Examine the SpaceStation on visual contamination and clean with a pre-impregnated moist NOT wet, fleece cloth. Dispose the cloth after usage. Our recommendation: ready-to-use Meliseptol® Wipes sensitive or Meliseptol® Foam pure. In case of heavy contamination remove cover unlock the locking button and remove the SpaceCover. Remove visual contamination on the SpaceCover and the guide rail as described above. Dispose the cloth after usage. In order to improve the cleaning / disinfection, repeat the cleaning and disinfection step. Make sure that no liquid is leaking into the ventilation or connectors. Let the SpaceStation time to dry after cleaning / disinfection. Afterwards assemble the SpaceCover again and lock it. After evaporation of the disinfectant (please observe contact time) reinsert the clean and disinfected pump into the station and protect the device from dirt until the next usage. B. Braun Space Perfusor® / Infusomat® All electronic connections have to be disconnected from the power grid before cleaning or disinfection. Clean / disinfect all sides of the Space Infusion pump. Start with the display and use ready-to-use wipes or a moistened fleece cloth. Clean with a moist, NOT a wet fleece cloth. Dispose cloth after usage. Our recommendation: ready-to-use Meliseptol® Wipes sensitive or Meliseptol® Foam pure. To clean the flexible cable of the the Infusomat® Space and of the Perfusor® Space we recommend Meliseptol® Foam pure. Clean with cotton carrier in use with lint-free tissue. Make sure that no liquid is leaking into the ventilation or connectors. Let the device at least one minute to dry after cleaning / disinfection. After the drying time reinsert the cleaned and disinfected Space pump into the station / holder (see cleaning plan of the Space Station) and protect the device from dirt until the next usage. Braun Space Perfusor® / Infusomat® To ensure patient safety and proper functioning clean / disinfect the device after every contamination and after every treatment on a patient. NOTE · For cleaning and disinfection we recommend to use the cleaning agents / disinfectants Meliseptol® Wipes sensitive or Meliseptol® Foam pure of B. Braun. · For heavy contamination, which can not be removed with the method shown above please contact the technical services department of the clinic. · Current hygiene plans and measures of the clinic have to be observed. · Read the instructions for use before using the device.
