BERNINA Release Notes - Firmware Update V43.00.11
Introduction
These release notes detail the latest features and improvements for the BERNINA B 790 PRO sewing machine. BERNINA recommends keeping your machine's firmware updated for the best performance. It is advisable to back up your data before updating.
New Version V43.00.11
Functional Improvements
- Stitch counter freeze: Resolved issues with the stitch counter and cursor freezing in embroidery mode.
- Jumpstitches when re-sizing embroidery alphabets: Reduced random jumpstitches when resizing embroidery fonts.
- "Fabric too thick" message: The message now accurately indicates when the fabric is too thick for the presser foot.
- Hoop/foot replacement in embroidery mode: Replacing hoops or feet during stitchout mode is now prevented to maintain pattern position. The machine will revert to edit mode if attempted, or ignore the change if hoop recognition is blocked.
- Extra stitch during initialization: Eliminated an extra stitch after machine startup, threading, or sewing initiation.
- BSR improved: Enhanced performance for slow quilting with the BSR function.
- Needle threader collision: Resolved potential collisions between the needle threader and the embroidery hoop.
- Anonymized application data: Users will be asked to consent to sending anonymized data for product improvement after the first WiFi connection.
- New initialization software (boot loader): Updated boot loader software included.
