Power Supply
*PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING*
- Please use a power supply that meets UL, CSA, VED, or CCC standards.
- Please use the power supply that meets the manufacturer's power requirement.
- Please unplug the power supply when the device is turned off or during a thunderstorm.
- Please do not expose the device, which has battery power, to heat or let it overheat.
- If battery leakage occurs, please do not touch the liquid with your skin or eye. If you do come in contact, please see a doctor.
- The battery included with the device may cause fire or chemical burns if handled improperly.
Location
To avoid deformation, discoloration, or other serious damage, do not expose this unit to the following conditions:
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme temperature or humidity
- Excessive dusty or dirty location
- Magnetic fields
- High humidity or moisture
- Strong vibrations or shocks
Cleaning
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, slightly moisten the cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, cleaning alcohol, paint thinners, wax, solvents, cleaning fluids, or chemical-impregnated wiping cloths.

Rear Panel
The rear panel features the following connections and controls:

Instructions
Start
Upon powering on the S1, the I/O indicator will illuminate. Connect the device as follows:
- Connect the power supply/mobile phone or tablet to the USB port.
- Connect headphones to the headphone output.
- Connect to an amplifier or audio interface using the main output jacks.
- Connect your guitar to the guitar input jack.
Power On/Off and Battery Management
- Power On/Off: Toggle the power switch to ON/OFF to power the device on or off.
- Battery Management: When the device is ON, the battery indicator shows the status. If the battery is low, the indicator will blink RED. Charge the device via the USB port.
- Charge: When the power supply is plugged in, the charging indicator will illuminate. It turns GREEN when charging is complete.
Output Volume Level Adjustment
Please utilize the MASTER knob at the side panel to adjust the master volume level.
Preset Patch Selection
- Display: The LCD screen shows the currently selected preset patch (e.g., "2-R").
- Preset Bank Selection: Press footswitch A + B to go to the previous bank (Bank Down), and press footswitch C + D to go to the next bank (Bank Up).
- Preset Patch Selection: Press footswitches A, B, C, and D to select a preset patch within the current bank.
Drum Machine/Looper
- Press footswitch B + C to switch between preset control mode and looper mode.
- Looper:
- REC: Press footswitch A (footswitch LED blinks slowly) to enter recording standby mode. Recording starts when the first note is detected, and the footswitch LED blinks quickly. The screen shows the recording loop.
- PLAY: When the looper is in REC/STOP status, press footswitch A to playback. The footswitch LED stops blinking, and the screen shows the recording loop.
- DUB: At playback status, press footswitch A to start DUB (footswitch LED blinks quickly). The screen shows the recording loop. Press footswitch A to playback or dub, then press footswitch A again to stop the dub.
- STOP: During REC/PLAY/DUB status, press footswitch B to stop. The footswitch LED stops blinking, and the loop display stops rolling.
- DELETE: Press and hold footswitch B to delete the recorded track (LEDs of footswitches A & B will turn off). The screen will display "LD".
- Drum Machine:
- Play/stop: Press footswitch D to play or stop the drum machine.
- TAP: Press footswitch C to enter TAP mode (footswitch LED blinks, speed matches drum machine speed). Press footswitch C more than 3 times to set the drum machine speed. TAP mode exits automatically after 3 seconds of inactivity.
- Drum Groove Selection: Press and hold footswitch C for 2 seconds; footswitches C/D will start to blink. Press footswitch C or D to switch between drum grooves. The selection mode exits automatically after 3 seconds of inactivity, and the footswitch LED stops blinking. The display screen shows the number of the selected drum groove (e.g., "40").
Sync Mode
- Sync Off: When sync mode is Off, the looper and drum machine do not sync. The looper records when an input signal is detected; the drum machine does not play automatically.
- Sync On: When sync is On, press footswitch A. The drum machine will have 4 count-in beats based on the setting speed, then the looper starts recording and the drum machine starts playing automatically. When the looper stops recording, the drum machine stops simultaneously. The looper restarts and the drum machine restarts as well. Speed and groove settings must be configured before recording starts, as they cannot be changed during recording. (During recording, the drum machine can be muted but not stopped).
Tuner
In preset mode, press and hold any footswitch for 1 second to enter the tuner. The display may show notes like "-E", "E-", "A.", "E".
Bluetooth
Open the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device, search for "S1", and confirm connection. The S1 can then play audio tracks from the mobile device via Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth indicator will illuminate.
USB-OTG
The PRIME S1 supports direct USB recording with a mobile phone/tablet via an OTG cable. Users can monitor the audio track via the OUTPUT or the headphone output jack. In the MIXER menu of the Prime S1 App, users can adjust the OTG recording output level, the audio playback output level, and the instrument input level.
It is recommended to use a USB-C to USB-A cable.
