Patpet P-COLLAR 920 User Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Patpet dog training collar. This collar is designed to help dogs enjoy safer and happier lives while improving their ability to live in harmony with people.
WARNING: Do NOT use with aggressive dogs. Aggressive dogs may cause serious injury or even death to owners or bystanders. Consult a veterinarian or certified trainer if you are uncertain about your dog's temperament for this training collar.
CAUTION: Leash Training Safety. Ensure your leash is strong enough to prevent your dog from breaking or chewing through it. Keep the leash at a length that allows freedom of movement while preventing your dog from running into hazardous areas. Be capable of physically restraining your dog if necessary.
CAUTION: Risk of Damage to Dog's Skin. The training collar must fit properly and be checked periodically to avoid irritation or injury to your dog's skin. A collar that is too tight, worn for too long, or not repositioned occasionally can cause skin damage, ranging from redness and irritation to pressure ulcers.
- Never leave the collar on for more than 12 hours per day.
- Reposition the collar on your dog's neck every 1 to 2 hours.
- Never connect a leash to the electronic collar, as this can cause excessive pressure on the contacts.
- If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed.
- If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, consult your veterinarian.
- This product is not a toy; keep it away from children.
- This product is only for use with healthy dogs.

Function Test
It is recommended to test the shock levels on yourself first. Begin at the lowest level and gradually increase it to a comfortable level.
- Place one finger over both contact points on the training collar.
- Hold the remote approximately 2 feet from the collar. Press and hold the vibration button for 1-2 seconds. You should feel continuous vibration.
- Press the "-" button to decrease levels. Starting at level 1, press the shock button.
- Increase the level until the sensation becomes uncomfortable.
NOTE:

How to Use the Test Lamp
Shock Function Test

- Hold the test lamp's contacts against the receiver collar's contact points.
- Press the shock button. The test lamp will light up, with brightness indicating the shock level.
Pair the Remote and the Receiver Collar

Collar Fitting
Fit the collar properly, ensuring the contact points press firmly against the dog's skin. When fitted correctly, you should be able to place a finger between the collar and the dog's neck.
- Too Loose: The receiver collar may move around the neck, and the contact points might not touch the dog's skin.
- Too Tight: May cause shortness of breath and hurt the dog's skin.
Caution:
- Do not shave your pet's neck hair, as this can increase the risk of skin irritation.
- The collar should not be worn for more than 12 hours per day to prevent skin irritation.
Find the Best Shock Level for Your Pet
The unit has Up and Down buttons to control shock levels from 1 (lowest) to 16 (highest). The appropriate level depends on your dog's temperament and shock threshold. Start at the lowest level and increase until your dog shows a mild reaction, such as an ear flick, lip lick, or neck muscle tension. Shock levels may vary based on training situations; highly distracted dogs may require a higher level.
