Product Overview
This document provides installation and safety instructions for Eaton's DMM and DCM series switch-disconnectors.
The following models are covered:
- DMM-40, DMM-63, DCM-40, DCM-63
- DMM-80, DMM-100, DMM-125, DMM-160
Electrical Connections
The switch-disconnectors feature main terminals for power input and output, typically labeled L1, L2, L3 for phase connections, and N for neutral. Output terminals are labeled T1, T2, T3.

Terminal sizes vary: 14 mm (0.55") for DMM/DCM-40/63 series and 21 mm (0.83") for DMM-80/100/125/160 series.
Mounting holes are approximately Ø6 mm (0.24") for some models and Ø5 mm (0.2") for others.
Installation Procedure (Shaft Set)
The following steps describe the installation of a shaft set (SHAFTSETDCM/DMM):
- Use pliers to adjust the unit.
- Use pliers to connect a component.
- Use a screwdriver to attach a component.
- Attach a part using screws, tightening to 0.5 Nm (4.43 lb-in).
- Attach another part using screws, tightening to 0.5 Nm (4.43 lb-in).
- Attach a part using screws, tightening to 0.8 Nm (7.08 lb-in).
- Attach another part using screws, tightening to 0.8 Nm (7.08 lb-in).
- Attach a part using screws, tightening to 0.8 Nm (7.08 lb-in).
- Attach a part using screws, tightening to 0.8 Nm (7.08 lb-in).
Dimensions and Mounting
Front Mounting: The overall depth for front mounting is 171.7 mm (6.76").
Mounting Quantities:
- DMM-40, DMM-63, DCM-40, DCM-63 require 1 mounting unit.
- DMM-80, DMM-100, DMM-125, DMM-160 require 2 mounting units.
