Problem | Signaling | Type of Accident | Solution |
---|---|---|---|
Electric dryer does not heat up | LED 3-LED 5 flashes alternately | Heater-timer-regulator connection burned out | Unplug the electric dryer and contact the seller. |
Preparation and Work Procedure (TR 1.0)
Unpack the dryer. For models with a timer regulator, unpack the power cord. Dryers are delivered with two connectors closed by a nut with a plug. Unscrew the cap nut. Connect the power cord to the dryer body connector and tighten the nut on the cord for a reliable connection. The dryer attaches vertically to the wall with the connection point facing downwards.
Mark mounting holes, drill 8 mm holes for dowels, install dowels, and fasten bushings with screws. Align the dryer legs with the bushings and fix with four screws. Before first use, wipe the dryer with a dry cloth and leave it at room temperature for at least 6 hours.
Before connecting to the electrical network, ensure the power cord, plug, and earthing contact are undamaged. Repairs must be done by specialists. The dryer with a plug connects to a grounded socket. For dryers connected to fixed wiring, a shutdown device must be installed that disconnects both poles of the power supply.
First Inclusion:
Time Mode: One of LED 1 (3h) or LED 2 (6h) lights up blue, or no LEDs are lit.
Temperature Mode: One of LED 3 (40°C), LED 4 (45°C), or LED 5 (50°C) lights up.
Pressing Button 1 cycles through time modes: 3 hours (LED 1 blue), 6 hours (LED 2 blue, LED 1 off), or permanent mode (LED 1 & LED 2 off). The dryer continues in the selected temperature mode during timer adjustment.
Temperature Regulation: Pressing Button 2 cycles through temperature modes: 40°C (LED 3), 45°C (LED 4), 50°C (LED 5). Pressing Button 2 again puts the dryer in standby mode. Pressing and holding Button 1 for 2 seconds also enters standby mode (all LEDs off).
To turn on from standby, press Button 1 or Button 2. The dryer will operate in the last working mode.
Turning off the device:
To turn off, put the dryer in standby mode and unplug it. For hardwired dryers, put in standby mode and turn off the hardwired switch.
Eco Mode:
Timers-regulators have an Eco Mode to disable constant heating, using only the 3 or 6-hour timer. To activate, press the timer button, then press and hold the heating button for 5 seconds. The dryer will turn off and then can be turned on normally. To return to constant heating, repeat the process.
