Safety First: Always turn OFF the main electricity supply before beginning installation to prevent the risk of electrocution. Ensure the wall can support the product's weight.
Handling: Avoid placing the mirror upright on hard surfaces during fitting to prevent edge damage. Keep protective corner protectors on until installation is fully complete.
Installation Steps
This mirror can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
- Measure the distance for mounting holes and drill them using an appropriate drill bit.
- Insert wall anchors and mounting screws.
- Connect the power: Ensure the main electrical supply is powered off. The mirror's power cord connects to the wall's power cord.
Power Connection Methods
Method 1: Direct Wiring to Wall Switch
- Identify the mirror's wires (typically white for neutral, black for live).
- Connect the mirror's white wire to the wall switch's white neutral wire.
- Connect the mirror's black wire to the wall switch's black live wire.
- Securely hang the mirror onto the wall screws.
- Peel off the protective film and clean the mirror with a soft cloth.
Method 2: Wiring to a Plug
- Connect the mirror's wires to a suitable plug.
- Ensure the green wire (ground) connects to the plug's ground terminal.
- Connect the white wire (neutral) to the plug's neutral wire.
- Connect the black wire (live) to the plug's live wire.
- Plug the mirror into a wall socket.
Operation and Features
The lights and defogging function activate automatically when power is supplied.
Lighting Control
- On/Off: Short press the power button to turn the light on or off.
- Color Adjustment: Short press again to cycle through light colors (natural, warm yellow, white).
- Dimming: Long press the power button to adjust the brightness of the selected light color.
Defogging Function
The defogging feature turns off automatically after one hour to conserve energy. It also deactivates when the main power switch is turned off. To reactivate, simply touch the switch again.
