Thank you for purchasing the FX 30C PRO helmet Bluetooth intercom with camera. For optimum use, please read the manual before use.
1. Package Include
The package includes the following items:

2. Charging
Charging Indicator: The LED indicator will light up in red while charging and turn off when charging is completed. Please charge the device before first use.
- Use a qualified 5V/1A±0.5A charger. Unstable current may damage the equipment.
- If the product is not used for a long time, please charge it at least once every 2 months.
The power cable insert hole (socket) is located on the device.
3. Installation
3.1 Speaker Installation
- Open the inner lining of the helmet ear position and fix the Velcro to the ring position.
- Fit the headset to the Velcro and fix it to the ring position. Ensure the short-line speaker is on the left.
- Stick the microphone and Velcro on the left side of the helmet at a suitable position, aiming the microphone at the mouth position, and arrange the wires to the inner lining.
Remark: The microphone should be as close to and aimed at the mouth as possible. The speakers should be as close to the ears as possible. If the installation position of the speaker is too deep, causing the speaker to be too far from the ear, the sponge in the accessory may be used to adjust the position.
3.2 Clip Installation
Method 1: Metal Clip + Rotating Parts + Plastic Clip (Recommended)
- Assemble the Rotating Parts to the Plastic Clip.
- Fix the Rubber Pads to the Rotating Parts; Assemble the Metal Clip to the Rotating Parts.
- Install the Rotating Parts to the helmet.
Method 2: 3M Stickers + Rotating Parts + Plastic Clip
- Assemble the Rotating Parts to the Plastic Clip.
- Fix the Rotating Parts 3M Stickers to the Rotating Parts.
- Install the FX 30C PRO to the helmet.
Method 3: Metal Clip + Plastic Clip
- Install the FX 30C PRO into the Plastic Clip.
- Assemble the Plastic Clip and Metal clip.
- Install the FX 30C PRO to the helmet.
3.3 Insert the headset / Pull out headset
Insert the microphone and earphone connection line; installation is complete. To pull out the headset plug, follow the reverse procedure.
4. Camera & Video Function
Outlook / Button
- 1. Video Mode: Button for video recording.
- 2. Power Button & WiFi ON/OFF: Press to turn on/off the device and WiFi.
- 3. Camera Indicator: LED indicator for camera status.
- 4. Camera Mode: Button to switch between photo and video modes.
- 5. TF Card Slot: Slot for the TF memory card.
- 11. TYPE-C Port (Charging): Port for charging the device.
4.1 Camera ON/OFF
Press and hold the camera Power button [power-symbol] for 2 seconds to switch the camera function on or off. Note: Before turning on the camera, please insert the TF card first.
4.2 Camera Mode
When the camera function is switched on, press the camera mode button [camera-symbol] once to take a photo. The voice prompt will say "Photo" and the camera indicator will flash red once.
4.3 Video Mode
When the camera function is switched on, press the video mode button [video-symbol] to start recording. The voice prompt will say "Recording On" and the camera indicator will keep flashing. To stop recording, press the video mode button again; the voice prompt will say "Recording Off".
Note: If the TF card is full, it will overwrite the memory and continue recording.
4.4 WIFI & APP
4.4.1 APP Download
Scan the QR code to download the "MCAM" app to your smartphone. Available on the App Store & Google Play. You can also search for "AVDEO" APP.
4.4.2 WIFI Framing
- 4.4.2.1 Long press the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] to switch on the camera function. The camera indicator will flash blue and red slowly. Wait 3 seconds, then short press the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] to switch on the WiFi function. The camera indicator will flash blue and red quickly.
- 4.4.2.2 Open your smartphone's settings, find "FX30C PRO-XXXXX" (where X represents the headset's proprietary numbers) in the WLAN setting list, click to connect to FX 30C PRO, and input the WIFI code "12345678". The device will connect, and the blue light will turn on.
- 4.4.2.3 Open the APP to view the live feed.
- ① Click Connect to Device to enter preview mode and adjust the camera angle.
- ② After confirming the angle, click Start recording [record-symbol] to start/stop recording.
- ③ Click SD to enter the album and preview videos and photos.
Note: When the FX 30C PRO is connected to the mobile via WIFI, recording can only be started and stopped using the mobile phone; the record button on the FX 30C PRO will not function.
4.4.2.4 Quickly exit WIFI connection & Quickly take photos and videos
- Exit WIFI connection: When connected to WIFI with your mobile phone, click the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] to exit the connection.
- Take photo: When connected to the mobile phone's preview screen, click the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] to exit the WIFI connection, then press the camera mode button [camera-symbol] once to take a photo.
- Take recording: When connected to the mobile phone's preview screen, click the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] to exit the WIFI connection, then press the video mode button [video-symbol] to start recording.
Note: When the FX 30C PRO is connected to the mobile phone via WIFI, start and stop recording can only be operated on the mobile phone; the record button on the FX 30C PRO will not work.
4.4.3 Settings
Click the settings icon [gear-symbol] to access the APP settings.
Tips: After connecting via WIFI and confirming the angle, it is recommended to shut down the WIFI function to conserve battery power and allow the device to work longer.
*Camera Function: While video recording is in progress, you cannot take photos simultaneously. To take photos, you must first pause the recording.
4.4.4 TOGGLE MICROPHONE & CAMERA RESET
- Toggle Microphone: When the camera recording function is activated, click the camera mode button [camera-symbol] to toggle the recording microphone.
- Camera Reset: If the camera freezes or does not work, press and hold the WiFi ON/OFF button [power-symbol] for 15 seconds to reset the camera.
4.5 WIFI DATA TRANSIT
When video mode is on and connected to WIFI with your smartphone, you can download videos or photos from your smartphone. For power saving, downloading files via USB is suggested.
4.6 TF Card (not included)
Supports 32GB TF cards. Data can be transferred via USB data cable (power on the camera after connecting the data cable). It takes approximately 3 seconds.
Tips: The TF card should be at least Class 10 or an even higher version.
4.7 Camera Indicator
Red Light:
- Flashes once when switched on, stays red when in standby.
- Flashes once when taking a photo.
- Keeps flashing when video mode is on, stops flashing when video mode is off.
Blue Light:
- Flashes when the WIFI function is switched on.
- Stays blue when connected to a smartphone.
- Turns off when WIFI is switched off.
4.8 Tips
- A. Simultaneous flashing of blue and red lights indicates the TF card is full. Photo or video recording is not possible. Exchange the card or download files.
- B. Alternating flashing of blue and red lights indicates an error with the TF card. Photo or video recording is not possible. Exchange the TF card.
*The video mode supports 1080P HD. The TF card should be Class 10 or above.
5. Button and Basic Function Operation
Outlook / Button
- 6. Mode Button: For changing modes.
- 7. Function Button [volume + / - ; Next / Previous]: Controls volume and track selection.
- 8. Intercom Button: For intercom functions.
- 9. LED Indicator: Status indicator light.
- 10. Mic & Earphone Jack: Connection for microphone and earphones.
- 11. TYPE-C Port (Charging): Port for charging the device.
Power On / OFF
Power On: When the device is off, press the Intercom button and Function button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Power Off: When the device is on, press the Intercom button and Function button simultaneously for 3 seconds.
*On initial use, charge the device until the red light turns off.
Power Detect & Notification Function
Low Power Notification: When the power is below 10%, the red light on the function button will flash, and a voice message will announce "Power lower than 10%". Please recharge immediately.
Power Detect Function: The FX 30C PRO has a power detect function. When the device is on, briefly press the Intercom and Mode buttons simultaneously. A recorded voice message will indicate the power level:
- Power over 90%
- Power over 50%
- Power lower than 50%
- Power lower than 10%. Please recharge immediately.
Cellphone Function
- Answering Call: Briefly press the Function button once.
- Hang up Call: After the call, briefly press the Function button once.
- Refuse Call: Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds.
Redial
Press the Function button briefly twice.
Volume Control
- Volume Up: Rotate Function button forward while talking.
- Volume Down: Rotate Function button backward while talking.
Manual/Auto Switch
Press and hold the "Function" and "Mode" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds when the device is in standby. (Default: answer automatically)
Voice Command
When your FX 30C PRO is paired with a cellphone, briefly press the “Mode” button once. This will automatically activate the voice command function (for iOS and Android). *Cellphone must be equipped with this function.
Music Function
- Play: When the device is on, briefly press the Function button once.
- Pause: When music is playing, briefly press the Function button once.
- Volume Up: Rotate the Function button forward while playing.
- Volume Down: Rotate the Function button backward while playing.
- Play Next: Rotate the Function button forward for 1 second while playing.
- Play Previous: Rotate the Function button backward for 1 second while playing.
EQ Sound Selection
While music is playing, short press the Mode button to cycle through EQ sound effects:
- HiFi bass: Corresponding voice: Bass boost
- Popular Golden Classic: Corresponding voice: Midrange boost
- Pure human voice: Corresponding voice: Treble boost
APTX HD audio
In the cellphone's song playback format settings, select the APTX format to enjoy real HiFi sound effects when listening to music (the mobile phone must support APTX format playback).
Music sharing
Start Sharing Music:
- (No.1) connects with phone (refer to 6.3).
- (No.1) and (No.2) establish intercom connection (refer to 6.2).
- Short press (No.1) Intercom button to exit intercom mode.
- Long press (No.1) Intercom button and Mode button for 3 seconds; voice notice "Start Sharing Music".
- Turn on (No.1) Music player on your phone and play songs.
- (No.2) can now enjoy the music shared by (No.1).
Stop Sharing Music: Pause music first, then long press the Intercom button and Mode button for 3 seconds; voice notice "Stop Sharing Music".
About Music Sharing:
- Music sharing function is used only between two FX 30C PRO devices.
- When starting or stopping music sharing, the music needs to be in a paused state.
- Short press the function button to play/pause music sharing.
- If music sharing fails, clear the pairing memory of both units (A and B) and try again.
NOTE: For the best music sharing experience, one unit should be connected to your phone, and the other should not.
FM Function
- FM ON: When the device is on, long press the Mode button for 3 seconds.
- FM OFF: When FM is on, long press the Mode button for 3 seconds.
- Volume up: Rotate the Function button forward while listening.
- Volume down: Rotate the Function button backward while listening.
- Next Channels: Rotate the Function button forward for 1 second while listening.
- Previous Channels: Rotate the Function button backward for 1 second while listening.
Intercom Function
- Switch intercom on: When the device is disconnected, briefly press the intercom button once.
- Switch intercom off: When talking, briefly press the intercom button once.
- Volume Up: Rotate Function button forward once while talking.
- Volume Down: Rotate Function button backward once while talking.
Memory Clear
Memory Clear: When the device is on, press "Mode" + "Intercom" + "Function" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Then FX 30C PRO will clear its pairing memory with other devices.
6. Device Pairing and Connection
6.1 Pairing Mode
6.1.1 Active search mode
When the device is on, press and hold the intercom button for about 6 seconds. The red and blue indicator lights will flash alternately slowly, entering active search mode, and the voice prompt will be "searching". Active search mode is used for intercom function connection between FX 30C PRO devices.
6.1.2 Passive pairing mode
When the device is on, press and hold the Function button for about 6 seconds. The red and blue indicator lights will flash alternately quickly, entering the pairing search mode, and the voice prompt will be "pairing". The passive pairing mode is used to connect to Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones and GPS.
6.2 (No.1) FX 30C PRO connect with (No.2) FX 30C PRO
(No.1) FX 30C PRO should be in active search mode (refer to 6.1.1), and (No.2) FX 30C PRO should be in passive pairing mode (refer to 6.1.2). When (No.1) and (No.2) FX 30C PRO change from flashing red and blue lights alternately to flashing blue lights simultaneously, the connection is successful.
6.3 Pairing With Cellphone
STEP 1: When the device is on, long press the Function button. The red and blue lights will flash quickly, entering passive pairing mode (refer to 6.1.2).
STEP 2: Turn on your cellphone's Bluetooth, select "FODSPORTS FX 30C PRO". The pairing is complete. A voice message will say "Device Connected".
6.4 Pairing Connection
Occasions: Rider A connects with Passenger B for intercom. Then A connects with one Bluetooth device, and B connects with one Bluetooth device (as shown below).
- Step 1: (A) FX 30C PRO connects with (B) FX 30C PRO (refer to 6.2).
- Step 2: Briefly press the intercom button of A or B once to disconnect intercom.
- Step 3: A connects with one phone (Bluetooth device) (Paired connection, refer to 6.3).
- Step 4: B connects with one phone (Bluetooth device) (Paired connection, refer to 6.3).
- Step 5: Briefly press the intercom button of A or B to connect.
Notice 1: If A or B needs to use the audio function of the phone (Bluetooth device), you must disconnect the intercom.
Notice 2: Intercom is interrupted and reconnected: In a two-person intercom state, if there is a mobile phone call, the intercom will automatically disconnect and reconnect after the call ends. If it is interrupted due to distance or poor signal, press the intercom button to return to the intercom state.
6.5 Memory Connection Function
The FX 30C PRO will remember the paired device. When using it again, follow these steps:
- Switch off all 2 units (No.1 and No.2) and all Bluetooth devices connected to the headset, such as cellphone and GPS (this will affect pairing).
- Switch on Unit No.1 and No.2. Press Unit No.1's intercom button; No.1 and No.2 will connect successfully.
- After both units reconnect, switch on the originally connected Bluetooth devices, such as cellphone and GPS.
6.6. FX 30C PRO can connect up to 2 devices.
The FX 30C PRO cannot pair with three devices at the same time.

8. Q&A / Warning
8.1 Q&A
- Q1: No sounds from one or two side speakers?
A1: Check the device plug. Make sure it is firmly connected. - Q2: Can the bike USB charger be used to recharge while riding?
A21: Not recommended. An unstable power source can cause damage to the internal circuit and may prevent recharging or full charging/switching on.
A22: Use a power bank instead. - Q3: When using the radio, there is no transmission or continuous transmission?
A3: Check that the headphone port is inserted firmly. If the pin is equipped with waterproof aprons, the user may think it's already plugged in. - Q4: New device can't switch on?
A4: Charge for at least 30 minutes before use.
8.2 Warning
8.21 Sound Volume Warning
Prolonged listening or listening at excessively high volumes may damage your hearing.
8.22 Disassembly or Modification
The FX 30C PRO is precisely manufactured at the factory. Any disassembly or modification may damage the device. Do not remove any safety regulation or serial number stickers from the device, as this will void the warranty.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
